USC Trojans hired a new baseball coach?
They are the Bama of baseball.
Texas and LSU are tied with 6 titles. USC has 12
What if I told you that Alabama doesn't have the most football championships?

And Yale has the most cfb titles. Your point?

If anyone would know about "schools that used to be worth a frick making questionable hires" it'd be a Tennessee.

This thread is all over the fricking place.

USC and Texas have more of a claim to be the Bama of college baseball.
Texas even has two titles since 2000 and still playing this year unlike either of our teams.
Texas even has 10 CWS appearances since 2000 compared to LSUs 8.

Get your narrative straight

Do people in BR even know what Narrative means?
Enjoy your gator hunting in the morning.

And Texas had to settle for Tulane’s coach after striking out with everyone, including the guy A&M just hired. Turned out just fine for them, so I find it pretty humorous how people think LSU hiring Johnson is somehow uninspiring

Nobody knows how a coach will turn out in any sport.
I’d say basketball is one of the easiest to judge but baseball and football nobody has a clue

Just hired a guy who had a .500 record in the PAC 12 at Zona before this year
And they're doing the same thing you're doing tonight....watching the college World Series on television.

Mike Price got to a de facto national title
Game in the pac 12 before Bama was Bama. Henceforth > Rich Rod who couldn’t even get hired at Bama.

I was assured that LSU was the best job in all of college baseball. A&M would have to wait to see who was hired .. etc, etc
Pretty underwhelming hire for the "best job in all of college baseball". LSU is an SEC baseball team. Nothing more, nothing less as evidenced by this hire

Rich Rodriguez did turn down Alabama though.....well, his wife made him..... Which is why Bama fans are so grateful for Rita. Because....well.... We all know what happened next.
