One game doesn't define them. Hell, the 2011 defense was one of the better of the last 25 years. They have up 300 yards rushing to Georgia Southern.

Hand players at year, as well as Evans.

Shouldn't scare anyone, just no one should expect the same play from the defense this year, much like no one should have expected the 2009 defense to play like the 2008 defense. Experience helps

Y'all must be really worried about your offense, the way you are all puffed up about how fabulous your defense is going to be.

Lol
"If you talk greatly about a unit that returns at least 9 starters, as well as the talented depth behind it, you're obviously just scared and are downplaying the offenses inevitable failure! Weagle Weagle!"

I mean it would define them if they had lost that game

According to ESPN's BPI, LSU has a 51% chance of beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

And why do people continue to make these arguments about sacks? I'm not even sure Alabama has finished in the top three in the conference in sacks at all since 2007. It sure as hell hasn't hindered the defense.
OK but last year your front 7 was no dominant and you lost your sack leader, your second best tackler, and one of the best in the box safeties .
Bama could end up having a great front 7 but as of now the re e is nothing that points to bama's front 7 being dominant or it coming close to 2011. That's what my response was to.
