to be fair that was scheduled in Tiger Stadium. His point was we don't travel for OCC games.

Let's not forget Va Tech, however, in 2002

We could have put the game off or not played it. Instead we went there and won. Doesn't matter how. He said we dont have the balls to do it, we did it.

All the LSU fans making the trip to Seattle will probably have a blast. The game itself will probably be an afterthought though.

Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, USC and maybe ucla would give you a game, but you won't get one from Worshington. Not for a few years, anyway.

The best football is in the South. That is a fact.

Those players for the most part stay at southern schools, with the best going to the SEC.

The best coaches are in the SEC. The best fanbases are in the SEC.

Even in our down years, which this has been the worst in quite awhile, we are still the top or tied for the top conference.

For your Utah over Alabama I will raise you a Ole Miss over Texas Tech.

Utah was pumped but they are way to small and weak to play in the SEC week in and week out. The SEC may have had a down year this year as far as bowls go and the man love they show USC but an SEC team will be the national champion yet again this year proving that the SEC is the best conference......

last time I checked, it takes me a little less than 7 hours to drive to the end of my back yard.

That is almost half the damn Pac-10 in less than a decade...what else do we need to do?

The Pac-10 schools, media and fan base would like the SEC schools, media and fan base to smooch their collective arse. They are all from the west coast BTW.

I'm not saying that I agree with everything in there, but SEC fans are extremely stubborn when it comes to their conferences dominance. I'll admit that they're the best, but they'll hear no other arguement. I'm not generalizing about people on this board, but people that live around me. I live in the South and being a fan of the Big 10 I've seen it all. I want to say that about 25% of the fans down here are just straight up ignorant. A good majority respect other conferences while also proclaiming SEC's greatness (which is fine because the SEC is the real deal and I'll admit that any day). I'm just saying, have respect for other conferences and don't be shooting them down all the time. We don't do that to yours.

On the other hand this guys argument about non-conference games in bull. The SEC does not need to schedule tough out of conference games because it's conference is hard enough. Teams like Ohio State, USC, and Texas need to because sometimes their conferences are not up to par (Ohio State schedules one pretty tough oppenent every year. Weather it be USC in 2008-09, Texas from 2006-07, or VT in the future).

I know most of USC's OOC games are tradition (n.d.) but for a USC fan to say how tough their OOC schedule is, is just astoundingly funny to me.

I think the chants of "SEC SEC SEC" by whichever school you choose(LSU/FLA after the title games or Ole Miss after spanking Texas Tech) speaks volumes of what we are about down south. Funny USC stealing Penn State's chant the other night. Real original.

It's easy to be arrogant when you're better than everyone else.

The SEC is 6-2 in bowl games this year. While the Pac 10 had a terrific bowl season, what was their record vs the Mountain West this year? Wasn't something like 0-5?

The top SEC and Big-12 schools have refused to schedule SC. The athletic department has been pretty open about this. We've been setting up a home and home right now and they said they couldn't get any of the top Big-12 or SEC teams and will probably have to settle for Okie St, UK or possibly even Auburn again

And the Pac-10 has a winning record against the SEC since 2000 so comparing records is often flawed because it's pretty clear that's not representaive of the strength of the two conferences.
