So does 98% of Republicans when it comes to continuing or expanding surveillance of US citizens via the Patriot Act. But you vote for them anyway.

you guys literally don’t like or respect black women. you see a group of women being obnoxious so the first thing you do is stereotype all black women together. yet were changing the game, we’re lowering teen pregnancy, finishing high school., going to college, getting multiple degrees your hate for black women is strong and loud. the fact that you can group as a whole and try to say we all act like this instead of speaking about them directly is the problem this is muted go be ignorant self hating and coonish somewhere else. black women remember, you are special, you’re beautiful, and you’re smart. finish school, and don’t let these bum black men who down talk on you with the whites on twitter get your pregnant.
So they're doing the things normal people in society do now?

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) holds a nuanced position on illegal immigration, blending support for enforcement with civil liberties concerns.?
Enforcement and Border Security
Opposition to Military Use for Deportations: Paul strongly opposes using the U.S. military for mass deportations, labeling such actions as "illegal" and a "terrible image" for the country. He advocates for deportations to be handled by law enforcement agencies like ICE and the FBI, emphasizing adherence to constitutional protections such as the Fourth Amendment. ?
Critique of Expensive Border Measures: As a fiscal conservative, Paul is skeptical of costly border security initiatives, including extensive border wall projects. He questions the effectiveness and necessity of such expenditures, especially those exceeding $100 billion. ?
Legislative Initiatives
PACT Act: Paul introduced the Protecting American Citizens Together (PACT) Act, aiming to penalize "sanctuary cities" that do not cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. The legislation would require local law enforcement to notify ICE upon arresting an illegal immigrant and detain them if requested by ICE. Non-compliant jurisdictions would risk losing federal law enforcement grants. ?
SECURE Act: He also proposed the Stop Extremists Coming Under Refugee Entry (SECURE) Act, which seeks to suspend visa issuance from countries with high terrorism risks until stringent screening procedures are established. ?
Pathway to Citizenship
Conditional Support: In a 2013 speech to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Paul expressed support for a conditional pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. He emphasized that such a pathway should be contingent upon Congress verifying progress in securing the border. ?
Birthright Citizenship
14th Amendment Interpretation: Paul has questioned the application of the 14th Amendment's birthright citizenship clause to children of illegal immigrants. He suggests that the amendment was intended for children of slaves and not for those born to individuals in the country illegally. ?
Overall, Senator Paul's stance on illegal immigration reflects a balance between enforcing immigration laws and upholding constitutional liberties, with a focus on cost-effective and lawful approaches.
He has also introduced legislation aimed at penalizing sanctuary cities that defy federal immigration laws.
Sometimes he is a bit too stuck in principle, but he has principles.

I have endeavored myself with learning more about the history of the war as I have always believed in secession since I was in my early 20's. Political friction, tribalism, and cultures that are dynamically growing apart cannot all be ruled by a small group of people in a far away land.
All of the facts lead to a conflict driven by the desire by a group of people to control another group for money and power.
The absolute truth is the amassed power in DC today is because the North won the war.

Here's a clue: "US" stand for UNITED States
The Confederation of States that all of the United States were a party of was a perpetual union. Yet somehow history overlooks that fact that each State had to leave that Union to ratify the Constitution to form the US (These United States, not The United States.)
They were still the United States without the seceded ones.

What of those who didn't want out?
The same for those counties today that want to leave their current State, they as individuals are free to go. Otherwise, it's a fight they have to take on. States have sovereignty through the people of that State. The federal government has no sovereignty.

Women and children. This man was a psychopath and not someone to be revered.

Tell me again about all the conservatives that continually vote to approve the Patriot Act, including Trump.
Rand is wrong on tariffs, imo, but is far more conservative then the rest on pretty much everything else.

goal was the same - to take the fight out of the enemy and deny him the means to carry it out. What Sherman did saved a lot us US Army soldiers' lives - just like when we dropped the Bomb on Hiroshima.
What was the threat to the US for the southern States leaving? There was no threat of violence or takeover. They simply wanted out of the union.
What was the threat from villages in rural Georgia that required Sherman burning then to the ground?

If you weren't with the program, you had no rights to free speech as we know it today.
Lincoln imprisoned State officials and news reporters via suspension of habeas corpus. He used the military to end the conscription riots in NY (that's a good one for you to look up, you can read about how those virtuous Northerners lynched Black people and burned the homes of rich families)
I don't know more about the Antebellum North than the South. What i do know is people like you believe only what history you have been fed your whole life to prop up a narrative to reinforce the need for an overarching, all powerful central government.
The history of the War for Southern Independence and Abraham Lincoln have been purposefully dumbed down to a third grade understanding to believe there was a dialectical choice between the altruistic North and the evil South. That is no where close to what it was.

Listen to me closely, the War between the States was a war between two racist Nations. I don't have to pretend the South were the good guys to say the Yankees were pieces of shite.
The battle was over money and power. Not some altruistic virtue held by an extreme minority.

Abolition was a central plank in the Republican platform of 1862. That's why the southern states seceded when the Republicans won. They didn't even give Lincoln a chance to take office before they were seceding.
Yet Lincoln supported the Corwin Amendment allowing slavery to exist into perpetuity in the South.

Yet it was never brought to a vote as an amendment before the war by these so called conscientious people, now was it?
Think of the things we have not brought to vote as amendments: Voter ID, Birthright citizenship; and the limiting of the Commerce Clause to bolster States’ Rights. Why? Because these would have 0% chance of passing.
A Constitutional Amendment to ban slavery, when half the states were slavers, would have had no chance to garner the 3/4s of the states necessary.

And when was this statement made in 1861 before the war began?
I can’t believe you seriously asked that question, because the answer is, “All over Christiandom.” Most notably in Uncle Tom’s Cabin.
You didn't answer either question. All you did was spout some irrelevant bullshite.
