I asked who at arkansas is going to stop bowers. 5 to 7 catches for 100+ yards and at least 1 score. That is what i expect. The true freshman currently leads the team with 5 TDs. And we have been playing with backups in the majority of those games (jt daniels sat down in the 1st quarter against vandy and never returned).

Good thing you play a game with your offense in tact this weekend against a pretty good defense so we can actually see then, right? Nice straw man. Where did I say anything about how good UGA was? All I said was that your logic was flawed and you got in your feelings. If you believe that FAU and Bama’s defenses are comparable, then that’s your opinion. I was just saying I wouldn’t base opinions off a one game sample size.

If we take out every game where a team had guys hurt, the other team had guys hurt, this team was bad, this thing happened, this thing didn't happen, etc. we would have a 0 game sample size even at the end of the year for everybody.
I'm fine with saying UGA had guys hurt and should be better when they face good defenses in the future, but I don't think you can completely throw that game out either. Especially since they had all offseason to prepare for it.

Even if UGA decides to be run heavy on Saturday, the playfakes will create wide open tight ends the few times that we do go to the air. Even a true freshman can catch and run when he is wide open.

I guess I could also use small sample sizes and ignore context and say UGA is averaging 51 ppg against SEC teams this year. Sure, the games weren’t against great opponents, but it’s all we have so far lulz

True freshmen playing in their first college game against a top 5 defense.
Hell... bowers and adonai mitchell didnt have a senior high school season due to covid. Our other freshmen redshirted last year. Talk about knocking the cob webs off.
Hell. Jt Daniels still completed 22 balls for 72% completion percentagd with a more hurt team than we have today. As i said earlier, 4 of our top 5 receivers are freshmen (burton being the lone sophomore and he missed both spring and fall camp)
