I imagine many of the players are going elsewhere. They now know what the PoS actually is. Some will inevitably go to Austin for the payday. I wish them nothing but failure.

What a miserable ride it's been from Saturday night to Wednesday for Aggie baseball.

Honestly, its devastating, and not what college athletics should be about.

And most of these players have already secured NIL deals in Austin — the powers that be in that program have been working for months to do so. So I wouldn’t get too excited hoping you’re in the mix.

Why didn't A&M just match it?

Kent was transferring no matter what after everything that went on

Can we get some more details on this?

Does it matter? We have no idea who the coach will be, and the entire staff went with the PoS. We won't have a single player on the roster by the time this is done

The PoS screwed us as intended. He must really have a bone to pick with Trev. I stand corrected

He was pretty publicly unhappy about not playing much and there were rumors dad was as well. He’s come out and said he was close to transferring last year. I fully expected him to be in the portal the moment it opened even before all this went down.

I mean, that's not completely true if you believe player reactions. It appears, at a minimum, that Shane Sdao and Josh Stewart are staying with the possibility of Ali Camarillo and Jackson Appel as well.

I dont' see any way that Kent goes to Texas. Maybe LSU or Tennessee.

Kaufer and bell look to be entering as well so far I have it at 5.

Laviolette, Kent, grahovac, kaufer, bell.

I have zero doubt we would have, had we known about it.

It’s hard to fight fair when you don’t even know about the battle — the entire staff was aware it was happening, so there were no whistle-blowers. They were securing their own interests.

Isn't there a conference rule where you have to sit a year if you transfer in conference or does that only apply to football?

Laviolette, Kent, grahovac, kaufer, bell.

Early indications are the number will be 10-12 players leaving.

A&M won't have any of the current players next year. The PoS and his staff made certain of that.

Aggie has the money to keep them.

UT just bought our entire baseball program as a package deal. Coach, staff, and players. The team A&M should be fielding next year, will all be in Austin wearing different jerseys.

This is the state of college athletics.

College sports are broken, and probably will never be repaired.

I'm old enough to remember when Texas AtM bought an entire football recruiting class a couple of years ago, just curious, did you think it was broken at that time too?

A&M literally has nobody to keep this team. The baseball building is empty except for the players. Many of which are going to MLB in the draft

Maybe Targac can keep it together.

That implies that everyone involved had at least some level of dislike for something about A&M.
