I was raised Irish and beaten by nuns, so no booze has escaped my grasp

No love lost for the bloody English anyway. Bunch of toffee nosed folks who can not accept their Italian blood.

Monty Python are Youngbloods to me. My university years were done and gone before they were the rage. My touchstone was more Tom Leher but Python was good at pointing out the absurd with less slapstick than Benny Hill.

When you are younger you can appreciate the situation the fellow is in in the "Three Steps" song. When you are older you are just focused on the first 3 steps getting up from a chair or bed.

Why you are still middle aged in my book, so get busy while you still can.

While old age takes care of your insurance needs a clause for free catfish would bankrupt any future employer who would take a chance on me.

In Florida, I get laughed at by the member of the Sunday School class I teach when I mention how old I am. On Sunday nights, we celebrate anniversaries in the church. People stand up and say how long they have been married. There is always one or two couples in their 70s or 80s that say “three” or “five” years. Always love it when I see these widows and widowers continuing to fully live their golden years.

My grandfather is 90 and my grandmother died in 2020. He has had a couple girlfriends since. Hell he was driving from Lincoln, NE to Arkansas regularly to see one. (He is from Arkansas and we have family there still as well)

I didn’t know you go to the same church as me. BTW I would be one of those 70-80 year old couples
