I used to do desktop support/IT. I went to school for software and hardware. But, I never did get into coding.

I used to work in my own machines from software troubleshooting to hardware upgrades I let someone else handle it now, though. Macs are really not that hard to work on.

I got sick of having to get new PC’s every 2-3 years because of bugs and bloatware. Macs have been pretty much flawless for me. We integrated iPad Pros into the mix a couple years ago and they have been great.

I haven't really worked on a computer in a long time. I went s different direction and then just kinda lost touch with it. I'm sure I could pick it back up if someone gave me a chance. But, I think the closest kind of work I would do would be like an admin on here. I guess it would depend on the opportunity.

Yeah that part sucks. Had to wipe my old laptop and reinstall windows to get the thing to work. Still has issues but runs quicker. May convert it to Linux at some point to extend the life.
Didn't know macs skated over this issue but then, viruses are less prevalent for them too

I worked at Albertsons when I was 15 for $3.85/hr. They sent me out in the rain two weeknights in a row to get buggies. I called and quit the third day.

It’ll be with me for a while. I’ll likely have it until the iPhone 20s come out.

Ha. Sounds like you were doing feminine front end work. I spend most of my time in the back

I've always thought it was a regional thing. Family down south still calls them buggies. Meanwhile in the great white north they're carts

I'm just telling you what I'm doing. No need to get angry because you're not in this.

I had to work today, too. Unfortunately, hospitals don’t recognize holidays.
