Had Gene Chizik done something like what Saban did, Alahunter would be all over him calling him a POS and lousy human being. However, since it's his Lord Saban, it's okay because life is hard on people. That's his only excuse, "life is hard". Oh, and that he gets a free education at a school he didn't even want to attend.
Dude will defend Saban to the end. Even if he kills someone. Alahunter's reasoning for that would be, "Well, the world is already over populated, so Lord Saban was just doing everyone a favor."
What a shame...

No doubt in my mind.

Because it's true. Stop and think.
There is crying about a kid who got offered by 6 schools to play there. He accepted one of them. Had an offer to delay his enrollment and get a free ride to his dream school. But this thread is pages long, because people have their panties in a wad, because the kid, basically cried at being disappointed in the offer of a greyshirt. That's it.

Just a prick with a computer and keyboard. He thinks he is clever, but I just laugh at the court jester that he is. Shouldn't be taken seriously imo.

I only read the first few pages...
I see some Alabama fans understand what Saban did was pretty shitty... I commend them.
And other Alabama fans are so full of bammer that they'd go to their grave defending Saban no matter what he does.

Hyperbole. Use it once you can't reasonably argue. Your a future Union man through and through and Dem voter. Entitlement and getting what isn't earned is deep in your vocabulary already.

Like I asked. If one or two had reneged, and he didn't have some to take their place, you know there would be the whining and gnashing of teeth because of it. The staff did their job and got the best recruits they could. The kid had 5 other schools to get a benefit that thousands of other kids would kill for. This entire hashing out is simply because the kid cried about it and hurt feelings. People need to seriously grow up and accept life will have disappointments.
If you cannot see or understand that this situation was both preventable and and was caused by the Alabama staff, then future discussion is futile. The kid did nothing wrong. The staff mislead him. The fact that he signed with Arkansas does not negate the fact that the Bama staff mislead him. If you won't acknowledge this most basic circumstance then you fail to acknowledge the most basic tenets of human decency. I don't like it when a kid is taken advantage of by a more powerful entity, and then is kicked to the curb.
You would be raising cain if Philon had done what Gunner Kiel did, which cost LSU a recruit (Patrick Miller). UA is an honorable institution and we should expect our athletic department representatives to act like it.

Why would he have to accept this? Why wouldn't one of the newer, or newest, recruit have to? He was committed way before the newest ones. Then, he was left out to dry.

Dude, you are a disgrace to your fellow bama fans, including harvey and teabag.

So he is afraid of being exposed then, gotcha.

Ya, I'm sure tons of these kids from poor families can afford tuition, books, room/board, etc. for a semester during the greyshirt period.

You were in all the talks and know first hand what he was told? Have you not read that he was asked to do so months ago, and declined. Then asked again in mid Jan? Do you not think there was some inkling that it was a possibility to him? Because he didn't want to accept that it might happen makes what happened beyond the realms of human decency? REALLY?
Really?? It's past the basic tenant of human decency to offer the kid a delayed scholarship? Holy hell.
A greyshirt offer, beyond the tenant of human decency. wow.
