I just can't agree with that. I know he's a talent. But like QB, LT is one of those positions were true freshman are rarely impact players from the get-go.

What I like is that the only questions I hear about the razorbacks is a spot or two on the O-line... I'm not seeing many questions/criticisms about any other aspect of the team. This makes me very confident going into the season.

I left out both of Hatcher's terrible plays that gave Hamilton TD's in the 1st half... but there's still a few other highlights with LSU looking silly, I won't lie.

I doubt this. Tennessee started 3 true frosh on the o-line last year, two of whom were extremely highly touted and early enrollees. Both did about as well as you can expect from true freshman in the SEC and are expected to be very good, but it's just another level.

We did start two freshmen on the OL last year and seemed to do fine...although tackle is probably a lot more difficult

They were both RS FR however while Brey is a true FR. I think Brey is going to have a great career as a Razorback but I think people are going to be severly disappointed if they think he is going to be all-world this year and just step right in for Love without a hitch.

Correct, this is a big difference. The first time he even lays eyes on an SEC defensive end in a game he will be trying to block him.

Jake Bequette and Tenarius Wright are preseason All-SEC DE's, and Brey Cook has been going up against them since this Spring. Cook will also have 3 starts against OOC lightweights before playing @ Bama, and there's a chance someone with more experience will get the nod over him anyway. However, my money is on Cook starting @ Bama b/c I think he's that good.

If he's not ready then we can just start peacock...at least he has juco experience. Damn oden really made this complicated

Not really. Oden wasn't even guaranteed to be a starter coming out of spring practice. All spring Cook and Peacock rotated at one tackle spot and Oden and Freeman rotated at the other.
Now you just know for sure that Freeman will be starting at the strong side tackle for sure and you will still see Cook and Peacock battle it out for the weak side tackle position.
What this really means is that Charpentier now becomes Freeman's back up immediately instead of floating between the two groups and honing his tecnique more which is what he needed to be doing.

Fact is... Arkanaas has NEVER had less that a 3 loss season in the SEC, but we are to believe (once again) that this is the year....and simply forget the fact you have no experience at QB or LT and play your toughest games on the road.
Good Luck...you will need ever bit of it to not have a 4 loss season.

Out of all our years in the SEC, how many of them were Petrino's 4th year in the SEC with this team?
