Our defense will definitely be improved. Other than the Auburn game though it was our offense that didn't come through down the stretch in our losses.

TOOOOO FAR!

And wtf is that in your avi?

You aren't paying attention if you think the Arkansas defense won't be pretty damn good this year.

I wish we could combine this year's defense with next year's offense. The offense has a lot of weapons, but I think they will be better next year after the new qb and O-line have a year to gel.

But you have to replace all those bad arse receivers after this year, right?
Also, Arky better make a run this year because the D is going to struggle in 2012.

I actually don't think our defense will be terrible in 2012. We have definitely upgraded the talent there, but I would expect a little drop off.

I'll hate to see Adams, Childs, and Wright go, but with Cobi Hamilton, Marquel Wade, Quinta Funderburk, Julian Horton, and a stable of others, we'll be loaded at WR for at least the next few years.

We will lose a lot of experience on D after this year, but we've been upgrading our size and speed the last few years, so I don't think I'd go so far as to say the D will struggle in 2012.

I hope our d and o line get bigger. D line is good...O line scares me though. Improve those next year and I believe QBs and WRs will come to Petrino

Yup. The other receivers are Herndon, Humphrey, Whitehurst, Jarvis, and Holmes. All of these players listed are talented receivers who will be able to step in next season with little drop-off.

So yall losing those three, along with possibly Knile Davis and you think Arky's offense will be better?

I don't think we'll necessarily be better, but I don't expect much drop off in production as a unit. Petrino has finally started to build some depth around here, something that Nutt never could figure out. Petrino's offenses always find ways to score, our defensive depth is what's finally got me really excited for the next several years.
