I don't recall miss being suspended at all, but I'm old.
I would imagine that I'm older than you but maybe not.
Yeah, Moss was suspended for the game against Western Carolina the following week for a failed urinalysis and follow up urinalysis he took on the 5th and 7th of November.
Here's the stats/participation record to prove it: LINK
Urbie was widely criticized afterwards and the SEC home office issued a slap on the wrist and reminded him that players who failed piss tests were to be suspended immediately but Urbie claimed the results were withheld from him until immediately after the SC game that night.
Moss later said Urbie told him he would be suspended for the Western Carolina game the Friday before the SC game .... and that was what motivated him against SC.

We'll never forget it at SC.
That was Ryan Succop, perhaps our greatest kicker in history and a former pro-bowler, who had those two kicks blocked in that game. My wife's all time favorite Gamecock too.
lol, I have to hear about that game every year during Florida week. She can hold a grudge forever.

Some of the post game comments, and subsequent announcement of the suspension for smoking weed .... they are priceless.
The betting boys on the RX forum were both enraged and hilarious.
It's probably the only time SOS ever called his alma mater into question.
