Yay! Now they can start all over again with the "ACC" providing most of the fodder.

It really is unfortunate that they get a free pass to the playoffs

What do y'all think Clemsons record would have been had they played LSUs schedule this season? I think bama would have beaten them with tua at qb, auburn would have given them all they could handle but probably lost a really close one to clemson, Florida probably would have beaten them with Trask at qb, and uga would have had a good chance to beat them as well in the sec title game. There's no way that Clemson would have gone undefeated in the regular season and the conference title game like LSU did. Absolutely no chance. The ACC is a joke, and I'm glad LSU was the team/program that exposed them. Geaux Fightin' Tigers!!!

Now you know how I felt in the early 2000's with FSU doing the same thing in the ACC.

It was a totally joke back then, at least the acc has a few better teams today.

In FSU long run of finishing in the top 15 in the poll played SEC x times and lost at a much higher rate than were in acc when they joined. Bobby in no way was going to let FSU join the SEC, as he knew they would lose way more than joining the acc.

FSU has dropped in the glamor factor and now the recruits are going to Clemson.

Ok lets be honest... Clemson is very good... Burrow just won't be denied...

Bama beats them if they played, but thats all... they beat everyone else on our schedule.

Florida State was a big fish in a small pond under Bowden and under Fisher. Nothing has changed with this Clemson program under Dabo in the acc either. Clemson is a big fish in a small pond as well. There are just no good programs to contend with them like the sec has year in and year out. That's a fact.

Idk man. I know for a fact that Auburn, Florida, and Georgia would all have had a chance to beat Clemson too. Maybe they would have lost to Clemson, but they wouldn't have blown them out like they have the luxury of doing every week vs acc competition.

Also, another thing to take into consideration when comparing the 2 conferences is the attrition and wear and tear you have to overcome in the sec. Ok, Clemson beats Florida one week, guess what? Next week you have Auburn coming to town lol, ok, you win that one and guess what? You have to go fricking play Alabama in Bryant Denny lol. If you win all of those, your reward we champion of the sec west is guess what? Going to play fricking uga in Atlanta for the sec title. Yay us! You see what I'm saying? It's just much tougher to win every game when you have such a monster and grueling schedule against such great programs every damn week, sometimes back to back to back. Then throw some other programs in conference that aren't contenders but can still beat you if you come out bullshitting around and not ready to play bc you're either overconfident or looking forward to the next huge game you have vs an elite program the next week. It's a totally different animal when you compare what LSU did going undefeated against our schedule and what Clemson did going undefeated in the weak arse acc. Apples and oranges comparison.

29-0 and only played 3 good teams in that span. LSU stopped them cold.

If they had played LSU's schedule I think they would have had at least 3 loses. Hell look how close A&M played them.

Bama - perhaps
Auburn - doubtful but in the conversation

UF - No way {Clemson 62 - UVA 17 vs UF 36- UVA 28}

UGA - Really? {Clemson 38 - SCar 3 (away) vs SCar 20- UGA 17 (at home)}

Clemson 21 - UNC 20 vs App State 34 - UNC 31. No way Clemson could have beaten App.

Why is that unfortunate? Clemson is 6-3 in CFP games with 2 NC...we’ve demonstrated we belong in each of the last 5 CFPs despite our shite conference ...OU, B1G (tOSU, Michigan State), PAC12(UW), Notre Dame...not so much.

Well...UNC was a hell of a lot better than your shite team...in fact they beat your shite team...but at least it wasn’t 38-3 so there’s that

Because the ACC is the worst of the Power 5 conferences and Clemson is getting far too easy a road to the CFP.
