ALL voted FOR by A&M. Right down the line.
Oh, and we did NOT vote that Tier 3 Networks like the LHN could have more than one football game. The sips decided that was the case without asking anyone.

Nah they are using Saban to woo whoever is coaching at Austin Westlake because he has the better job

Bellichek is accused of cheating and you know the sips would NEVER be OK with that in Austin, so belichek unfortunately isn't lucky enough to make the cut

True. Models of integrity, they are.

Ever since I was in Columbia in the 90s everyone knew Colorado wanted to go to the Pac10 and Mizzou wanted to go to the Big Ten.
Nothing ever came of it because they were members of the Big 8/12 and there wasn't any reason to shitcan all that history if the Big 8/12 could continue to be a major regional conference.
Something happened that turned was a common unspoken belief about Mizzou and Colorado moving into reality. I can't think of what that would be.

ow that Saban has used and abused Texas like a pawn to get a better contract, who does Texas go after and miss out on next?
You forget how delusional Texas is. They still believe they're going to get Saban...if they want him. If they don't get Saban, it's only because they didn't really want him.

Any Texas fan will tell you, they can get any coach they wanted, including Vince Lombardi. They have that kind of money.

"We never offered," they'll say.
"We knew we were being leveraged," they'll say.

Come on, now. You know all the money that's not under the Vatican is in Austin, TX.

Y'all don't forget that tu will spend obscene amounts of money to keep A&M out of the mouths of the media and the people in general. Does that translate into Saban or some other big name? Maybe, but they gotta find a big name puppet and most big names ain't puppets.

And of course they want him. Hell, I'd love for Missouri to get him (but I know it'll never happen). He's the best coach in CFB, and I don't think it's really even close. Texas wants him, but he's out of their league. They're not good enough for him.

frick Texas, but the amount of free promotion they're getting from just being brought up on every sports radio and TV show in connection with the best coach in college football is probably worth whatever shitfest is happening now.

If they want Saban, they've gotta give him an Albert Pujols level contract...10 years, $250 million.

Biggest reason I don't see Saban going there.
