Huh? Alabama came out in the 2nd half, forced a fumble, then held LSU scoreless the entire 3rd quarter before getting tired late in the 4th and giving up 14 pts on LSU's last 2 possessions.
There's a reason ole WT cites 1st half scores most of the time. LSU won the first half, Alabama won the 2nd half, but it was not enough.
So to say Alabama didn't have an answer for Burrow is straight wrong.
And if you REALLY want to get deep into it, Alabama really just had nobody better to play than true freshman Shane Lee to cover Clyde. That's what Alabama really didn't have answer for. LSU abused Shane Lee all game. Shane Lee didn't even make the 2 deep last year, that's how depleted our LB corps was in 2019. He'll be a Jr this year, might get to see some playing time again finally.
