Dude was bragging about talking to the SID but took a powder when asked to talk to the PPD person.

What a fraud

Why did he lie?

Until now, I didn't even think Coach O was on video offering a statement about the locker room conditions. I figured it was a sports writer who took something out of context and ran with it, which certainly happened by the mainstream media.

The statements Coach O made on the Monday presser are a bit bizarre, now that there are statements out from Coach Holtz refuting he was ever contacted and that facilities at Texas were fine.

You can't refute the air handler data that was just tweeted, it's on a building management system and is pretty standard stuff for a chiller loop campus.

There really was no reason to lie about it and since this turned into a PR battle, Texas fans aren't going to let this one go for a long while. Yeah, it looks petty, but the media ran with the initial report and it's perfectly fine to admit the 19-play drive to open the 3rd quarter gassed the defense. BFD, that's what tempo is supposed to do.

why do you feel the need to come to an SEC board and try to spread lie after lie? Is it because you feel inferior after UT got beat on their home field?

Jesus, ED O didn’t lie. It’s not like he said he talked to the AD or Skip Holtz either one. Someone inside the program told me that it was the Equipment Managers that had the discussion.

It doesn’t matter what the temp. Is now. What was it at game time?

You mean that Excel spreadsheet made by an intern? Yeah - super hard to refute.

Here’s the bottom line:
- The juicy headline is “University of Texas refuses AC to opponent in 100 degree heat.” - whereas - “Coach says AC was off, but it wasn’t.” isn’t quite as intriguing.

- O has barely mentioned it - while Texas is off making up spreadsheets - looking yugely guilty

- Texas is not back

Awesome, you doxxed the student who created the spreadsheet also? Bring him over and let's grill him. Do you know if they gave him a course in SCADA before asking him to produce the document?

O has barely mentioned it because it's old news now. Any more would be doubling-down on a fabricated story and I doubt O was the source of the myth to begin with. Just an odd thing to run with when he won the game and his defense got the job done.

Yeah, been lurking for a decade or so, figured I should join the party. Mechanical systems and building automation aren't exactly foreign to me and maybe I could make a sale at the same time. Where are the oil patch guys?

You a real Baylor fan or just a texas troll?

If you really are a bear fan, they stopped raping women and killing cats in Waco?

I don't know, did they? I generally avoid Waco for those reasons, sports bar shootups among rival biker gangs too.

Balcones Distilling makes a fine product though, and it's not far off 35. About the only reason for me to stop in Waco.

Federal government had to step in a few years ago the place was such a mess.

I was being facetious. That town has been cursed since the 1953 tornado and recent stigmas from that crap is embarrassing. I don't return for visits.

Probably for the best

Were you there for the tornado?
