It’s not an Aggie you are replying to here.

When even other fan bases are calling you out, maybe it’s time to take a step back.

This is not much different from showing up at a funeral where the deceased died when driving his car off a cliff while drunk and you telling everyone that’s what you get for drinking and driving.

Factually correct, but accomplishes nothing beyond rubbing salt in it. Your audience had nothing to do with the negligence. To them, you are just gloating over death.

I’ll never understand people who get their jollies this way.

What's sad is he claims to be 63.

Some people are assholes, news at 11.

Back to the topic:

Does Texas announce this after the A&M game, or after their Pluckers Chicken Wings Bowl loss?

The only joy he has in life is “old Vern owning aggy” on an internet message board.

And he calls us pathetic. He will die an old, lonely, pathetic and morally bankrupt piece of shite and his gravestone will be lost to time within a few decades because no one cares enough about his sad existence to keep up with it.

Meanwhile, 12 Aggies will be remembered for centuries for suffering and dying in a tragedy that shouldn’t have happened.

He’s just jealous.

If it's like the Schloss announcement, they will announce in the 2nd half of our game for maximum exposure.
If Arky beats them, they will announce after that game.

I suppose the question for me is, ideally do you make a move this late in the season without having a replacement deal already in the works?

I am interested to see how this plays out. I don't think texas should be too concerned about all the other openings out there, but they should be concerned about the timing as the transfer portal is now a major factor in the game.

I'm probably wrong, but I think they have Kiffin locked up.

I'd be legitimately entertained if that happened. But I don't think they want Lane.

I know this is a hard ask, but let's drop the topic.

It's way too tempting to keep it rolling but I think it's best to leave it, accepted apology or not.

I don't but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some who do. He's just another sark to me. We might as well keep sark if that's where we're going.

Wake me when Lane wins something of significance.

Not for Texas, but is anyone interested in Brent Key @GT?

This year looks much better than the previous two. Not enough to take a gamble on him in the SEC, much less at Texas.

I'm thinking it's likely Kiffin, who is doing the most Kiffin thing possible by stringing along Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU.

Hype, spectacle, sizzle. Lane sounds like a great fit for Texas.

But could he deliver? No, but he should do more than Sark.

I wish I could disagree. This is my fear.

He’s 54-19 at ole Miss

So he’s been anything but a failure. One could argue that he was a successful graduate. Of the Saban rehab program.

Check his record vs top 25. Being able to beat a bunch of bad teams doesn't impress me. Sark can do that, for the most part. When you look at their records vs ranked teams, you'll be surprised how similar they look.

I wasn't suggesting he was a failure. I just think that if we're moving on from sark, another coach who's record looks a lot like Sark is not the way to go.

I think tu realizes that Sark after Dark is not the long term answer for them and also know that if they don’t get into the Lane Lottery now then they won’t for a long time. My guess is that Lane will be in Austin if in fact it becomes available.

well that wouldn't surprise me at all. Do not want but I'm not the one making the decisions and I don't trust those who are.

I walked away from this thread when the Bonfire crap started, and just jumped back in this morning.

Just so I don’t have to go find it in the almost 500 posts, can you Cliffs why Sark might be leaving?

I'm not going to repeat the nasty rumors floating around but you could probably guess at most of it.

The only reason I think there's legs to this is because bopper says there is. I made the mistake of doubting him once before and lost a 1 year ban bet to him. I trust his source.
It also wouldn't surprise me that he wants to jump to the nfl because that rumor started weeks ago and hasn't died.
