I think the Big 12 is gambling on itself, betting if it offers all three tiers of content on the table (something Texas wouldn’t allow before) with the new configuration they will make nearly as much as before for just the first two tiers.
This requires streaming players getting involved and showing everyone that ESPN has been undervaluing college football. It’s a big bet but they don’t have a lot of choices.

I don’t have any inside connections and it completely quiet from what I can see..
That being said, I think it will be 2022 or 2023, otherwise there is no reason to negotiate a payout.
If it is indeed 2022, you will eat crow I am assuming?

We wouldn't "allow" it? Every school was free to shop around their own T3 rights. They got exactly what market value of their school's worst games were. They literally already know the value of those games because it's what they've been getting for years.
