I agree with your frustration. But like I said he is still trying to figure it out. We will see how he calls a game next year with Arch.
And remember we are also not getting blown out like under Mack.

You have to read on. It's a complicated melt.
But granted, it could use a bit of Bama irrationale.

True but I'm struggling to find what he "figured out" from '23-'24. The Defense sure figured some stuff out. That offense? Not seeing it.
Maybe next year he'll "figure out" that fake punts are a legal play.
Maybe you're right. Maybe he does. It doesn't seem to be trending in the right direction.

You're in the same situation as Bama fans were for the last two seasons. Why didn't the backup get a shot when the starter crapped his pants? Is the backup really that much worse or is it something else?
I wondered why Manning didn't get more of a chance this season but I also have been wondering for two years why Ty Simpson didn't get one snap of a chance when Milroe soiled his pants over and over with the Tide.

But with the help of a non targeting call that everyone not retarded knows was targeting. We were allowed to play in the Cotton Bowl.”
Fixed it for you.
Even if the targeting was called, that puts them at about the 50 and they already had 1 field goal blocked, so it doesn't necessarily change the game. It's pointless to argue either way, and you are just here to troll, so you do you..

Oh, and good job on the moral victory. No one cares about those here.
This isn't about moral victories.. I'm pointing out that Sark helped get us out of the desert, and any notion of getting rid of him is fricking stupid. If I didn't see the same nonsense on longhorn boards, I would question whether these dudes were actually Texas fans or not..
Be pissed. Yell at the clouds. Do whatever you need to do, but yelling for a coach's head because they fell a little bit short is the reason we ended up in the desert to begin with.
shite. Mack Brown was crucified before Vince won the NC, and after..

you make good points but every point that Vernon pointed out are valid points. We had a veteran OL and a 3rd year starter at qb this season. Statically we were a worse offense than in 23 and continued to make the same bone-headed mistakes and lack of production in the red zone.
Those are absolutely cause for concern. Neither he or I are calling for Sark's head.
No it wouldn't break my heart if he left. I also realize the odds are we'd end up with someone worse. We're just venting.

You also were vying your trade in the not-so-much B-12. Conference champs I believe. Thank your stars the shorthorn gets another less-than-stellar SEC schedule to walk it back. "This too shall pass."

Conference had nothing to do with it. If we were still in the Big 12 we'd have had the same issues in the playoffs like last season. Our problem isn't with our opponents. It's with our head coach.
It's sink or swim time for him.

You mean with X, AD, Whitt and JT? with Brooks & KRob?
after losing Bijan and Rojo the year before..
All drafted.. you don't say..
then after losing Baxter and Clark in camp..

Might as well get ahead of it now.

Players aren't part of your equation? Health was a major factor before you played your first game and frankly, Ewers has major flaws that Sark masterfully worked around.
If you keep looking for the 2020 BAMA Sark to show up on the 40 acres you can forget it. That Sark worked for the greatest head coach in college football history. That talent was off the charts and they were championship-tested. Coach Saban has had to keep a lot of good coaches pointed in the right direction.

season's over. Time to move on. Of course you'd love sark to stay in austin a long time. I'm sure a lot of SEC fans would.
Opinions of random message board assholes are of no concern to CDC. People need to vent.
I seem to recall a few bama meltdowns after the oklahoma game.

It's no secret, as a Sooner fan we know texas will always have more talent on the roster.
Sometimes Oklahoma can match them with the first unit but when it comes to depth the talent disparity begins to show.
But there was always a joker in the deck, the one thing that leveled the playing field between OU and UT.
For years texas players underachieved versus Oklahoma players.
Now I don't mean all of them, there have been a lot of great whorns but as a group they never reached or even came close to their full potential.
Of course, we knew why this happened, the sense of entitlement that all those UT players had for being told all throughout their football careers how good they were, how much better they were than the other kids and once they got to college it only got worse.
Sarkisian is the first coach in decades to somehow reverse this process so that they don't just show up for a game and expect the other team to lay down because as we had heard so many times, "We're Texas!".
Sarkisian finally did the one thing to get the whorns over the hump, he changed the culture.
Remember when Ehlinger announced "We're baaack" following the win over Georgia? Sooner fans all smiled knowing the next year they had no chance against OU in the RRS because they were still so full of themselves.
So Sark may make in-game mistakes but he got his kids to buy in and do the work as opposed to expecting it to be handed to them.

I'm not making any excuses.. I'm simply saying of course our offense took a step back this year.. we lost 6 very talented players to the NFL between 2023 and 2024, and yet, we had a very similar offense. That says a whole fricking lot imo.
It's not an excuse at all.. it's proof that we have the right coach imo.
2023 Draft - 5
2024 Draft - 11
2025 Draft - 8+?
2026 Draft - 8+?
I said 2 years ago, Sark just needs to learn how to win, and he's definitely learned a lot over the past 2 years. Do we have some things to work on? Yes, yes we do, but we are damn close.
This isn't like Riley's teams that got shredded in the playoffs.. we have a legit chance against anyone we play, and if Sark does learn how to win the big games, and if Sark can win a NC, then he might go on a run.
I'll look for my post before the 2023 season. Sark is close.

I don't care where he goes. I personally hope you decide to run it back with Mack "WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM" Brown. Make "WHAT IF" McCoy the OC. I miss those poor loser excuses from the old days. Don't you?

This was before the 2023 season.
