Your DL is dogshit. Coburn’s so fricking fat that he will need oxygen after the first quarter. Any DL that goes to Texas flushed their career.
Like I said last first round pick PERIOD was Vince Young

Nah, Patriots drafted Malcom Brown in the first. I dunno off the top of my head if there was anyone after that.

I thought Malcolm Brown was a third round pick? Certainly never amounted to much.

You're confusing Malcolm Brown (2L's), the running back with Malcom Brown (1L), the defensive lineman.
The argument you SHOULD be making is 1st round picks since A&M joined the SEC.
2013 Draft
A&M - Luke Joeckel (2nd overall)
t.u. - Kenny Vaccaro (15th overall)
2014 Draft
A&M - Mike Evans (6th overall), Jake Matthews (7th overall), Johnny Manziel (21st overall)
t.u. - 0 players drafted PERIOD
2015 Draft
A&M - Cedric Ogbuehi (21st overall)
t.u. - Malcom Brown (32nd overall)
2016 Draft
A&M - Germain Ifedi (31st overall)
t.u. - 0
2017 Draft
A&M - Myles Garrett (1st overall)
t.u. - 0
2018 Draft
A&M - 0
t.u. - 0
2019 Draft
A&M - 0
t.u. - 0
2020 Draft
A&M - 0
t.u. - 0
By my count, that's 7 1st rounders to 2 since we joined the SEC.

Thanks for the correction. Basically no Texas player has ever amounted to much in the last ten years or so. Since Mack Brown left

Malcom Brown, The DL
was a 1st Round Pick in 2015 by the Patriots
On March 17, 2021, Brown was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars and signed a new two-year, $11 million contract.
Things could be worse.

You are right it could be worse. Not too bad to be paid $11M as a failure

I will never refer to a player who didn't last long in the NFL a failure unless he pissed away all his earnings.
The percentage of football players who get drafted by the NFL from college is about the same percentage, if not less, than the percentage of Commissioned Officers in the military who make General Officer.

Malcom was never a failure. He's actually a good NFL player.
Even Malcolm has made a long NFL career for himself. He's still in the league and I think he's managed to get hurt less there than he did at Texas (which is what originally led to him being an UDFA)

No argument from me. Texas did not develop players the way they should have under Strong or Herman. I thought we would have one this year in Cosmi, but he went in the 2nd.
Hopefully Sark & PK do a better job at that.
That being said, none in the last 4 drafts is pretty bad by both schools.

It’ll change for A&M. We’ll have several in the first, second, and third rounds. What about y’all?

If my count is right, there have been 14 first round picks in the last 4 years.. who played HS Football in Texas, and none of them played for Texas or A&M. That is pretty bad.
* Kyler did sign originally with you guys..
We have had 8 guys drafted the last 2 years, but none in the first round.
Going forward..
We have some talented guys, but it will depend if they get coached up enough to have a breakout year. Demarvion has the best chance in 2022, Bijan in 2023, Worthy & maybe Sanders in 2024.. Stewart in 2025.. Arch in 2026.. :)
In Sarks system, Casey or Card might have a great year and move up there one of these years.

So unlikely.
Leal
Green
Wydermyer
Spiller
O’Neal
Richardson
It’ll depend on how things play out but that’s likely 6 in the top 3 rounds with a minimum 1 in the first.

We've got 3 1st round locks for the 2022 draft (Leal, Green and Wydermyer), 1 likely (Spiller) and 1 possible with a ridiculous season (Ainias Smith).
