I am in the (apparent) minority that would like to see the series restart, but this idea sucks.

Dude, seriously. Go watch the end of the Notre Dame game with the fricking longhorns. There's a multitude of reasons why we don't want to play those frickers ever again. That just give you one.
Agreeing to a home and home series is somewhat of a business partnership. The fricking longhorns are terrible business partners. If corporate business partners were half as self-serving and underhanded as the fricking longhorns, they would be in a federal pound-me-in-the-arse prison.
We all know exactly how those motherfricker operate. Enough is enough.
