You’re acknowledging that aTm counts toward March madness discussion as a contender in any year no matter the circumstances or record(they’re aTm and it’s men’s bball)? (Other than laughing at them for choking on a big old perv school supporting dick as they’d probably want it?)

With respect to interim head coach Terry, it would be foolish for our AD CDC to miss what is working. Terry is obviously a good game day coach. Our kids are motivated with a great attitude, and are playing unselfish team ball. They like playing for this guy.
Terry is a Texas guy, and player parents in places like Houston and Dallas will trust him with their kids. Terry will get tons of money and support to recruit the portal.

March basketball literally turns on one bounce of the basketball; the "best" teams don't always win. There is always a Carmelo Anthony kinda guy waiting down the road, a star that takes his team with him.
Terry did a good job down the stretch of the Big 12, and a great job in the Big 12 tourney, and made the right adjustments in beating two of the best 3-pt shooting teams in the country. I said Texas getting to the Sweet 16 was the bar for hiring Rodney Terry and he met that.
Texas won by hitting 1 3-pt shot, but outscored their front court 42-0, as Disu (14/20, 70%, 31 points) broke a record held by Kevin Durant & LaMarcus Aldridge. We held Pickett to 11 points and 1 assist, ONE more than a dead man. Rodney Terry gets an A+ for that.

The main thing I give him credit for is that he doesn't overcoach and overthink like some guys who think they're the smartest guy in the room do. "Let Vince be Vince" The defensive game plans have been great too.
The problem is that this is the best roster RT will ever have and it wasn't even assembled by him.
He was probably the 4th best SEC head coach this weekend. Let him finish his run before jerking him off too hard.
