Well, if we had to play an extra conference game each year and got the benefit of lining up against “power 5” heavy weights like Kansas
Your single greatest season in football history since WWII was last year, and you needed several plays at the end of the game to beat winless Vanderbilt by less than a touchdown at home...

Baylor Baptist winning 6 of the last 12 vs longhorns is such an embarrassment
So what does that make the aggies for winning 3 of the last 12 against the longhorns

It never ceases to be the most adorable thing when you have to hide behind other teams since you have no head-to-head success against the longhorns of your own

Ah yes. Texas has a down period "you're a cesspool and nobody likes you because you're meanines!!! "

A&M has a down period literally twice as bad: "we were just poorly coached. We didn't have the right guy leading us FIGHTIN Texas Aggies!"

He’s 50-39 for his career, so I’d say his .500 record at Texas is about what any reasonable person would have expected.

Was it? I believe there was a different decade we won thrice the amount of titles.

I can't blame you for the confusion though. Your single best decade never has (and never will) touch our second best from 2000-2009. Hell, y'all have never been top 4 at the end of a regular season to even compete for a title of some kind

Jimbo lost 9 games in his first two years but he's the second coming of Christ on your campus and the single-greatest thing to ever happen to College Station ? seemed like there was a lot of justification on your campus during the 2018 and 2019 season, but I digress.

Love that you're spending so much time thinking about us, though. LSU fan asks Texas fans what they think of the hire and you just can't get enough in this thread

You do realize you're on a SEC website which your program doesn't play in? You have to already know that when yall won a couple of games early on, you and your fanbase came here to gloat, and talk crap to everyone to include A&M.

Furthermore I should remind you that even though you lost to Arkansas yall came here to rub it in our faces even though our score was closer than yalls?

Keep pretending

And my favorite part. You brought up Fisher's first 2 years. Let us know what you think about his 3rd year. I should remind you we beat Bama with QB2. Bring up Ark and Miss St,I'll bring up that those two games have a high probability of having a different outcome if they're played today and not early on.

P.S. its going to be a blast watching 7 win Steve or whoever your next hire is during his first two seasons of the SEC

You’ve averaged 4.8 losses per year over a decade in the WEAKEST football conference

You just got humiliated by Baylor Baptist university AGAIN

There just aren’t enough lol’s at you going back 50 years to pretend that’s not who you are

You do realize that Texas is joining the SEC after your school's BoR overwhelmingly voted in approval like the good dog they are?

Are we really comparing whose loss was closer? Are we bringing whether it was a road game or neutral game as well? It was a loss, and each team lost by multiple possessions. The fact that you have to use a "we lost closer than you did!" as a feather in your cap tells you everything you need to know about aggie fans

LOL y'all are talking about our coach's first year which hasn't even concluded yet, so why don't we maybe wait until he gets a 2nd, 3rd and 4th year to start comparing results?

P.S. it's going to be a blast giving you rejects PTSD again once we resume our "rivalry" (quotations because I don't know how one could objectively argue that it is a rivalry given the embarrassing head-to-head in all sports and the fact that one school just houses the rejects of the other)

A) Vanderbilt > Kansas
B) we play them once every 4-5 years because of sec scheduling. You play Kansas every year
C) a win is a win. Better than a loss (especially to Kansas, who does that? )

Try again.

That's considered a tie by Aggies.

"humiliated" = a one score loss on the road to a ranked team. Jesus, I don't even want to think of the word that would equate Texas's games against A&M. Or Mike Leach's

And Congrats. They've now beat us 2 times in the last 7 tries, each of which took an unranked Texas team against a ranked Baylor team on the road in Waco. And you just hid behind Baylor AGAIN since you have no head-to-head results to point to of your own

There just aren't enough lol's at you pointing at Texas's shortcomings when a&m fans a.) wanted to be longhorns but weren't smart enough, and b.) have no room to talk considering they have no success themselves.

If Texas is really "pretending that's not who [we] are" then what does that make a&m if we've routinely dunked on them decade after decade when the two schools played each other

You also only play Georgia and Florida every 4-5 years.

Watching the replay of Baylor vs Texass on ESPNU. Easy to see why they are desperate to get away from Baylor.

2012-2020 SOS Rankings:

Texas: 8, 14, 25, 25, 36, 17, 12, 17, 15, Avg: 18.7
A&M: 3, 19, 12, 18, 19, 41, 5, 11, 8, Avg: 15.1

So after 10 straight years of talking about how much harder your schedule is, this is the massive difference we've been hearing about?

Thanks for conveniently stepping aside and ignoring some facts that you just can't handle.

Yeah, yall are headed to the SEC, but you're still showing your heads on this site at the most convenient times. Then disappearing for weeks at a time when times get tough.

I love the fact that you think the Aggie football program is afraid to play you guys when it starts back up. You apparently haven't been paying attention. Then again, most sips only pay attention to football when their team does well
