What are Texas fans thoughts about Sark after 8 games?

And I don’t need to hear every insecure Aggies opinion about big brother I’m asking Texas fans how they feel about their new head coach so far this season

I’m a secure Aggie. I’ll put it this way. There are 5 Texas teams ranked in the top 25 right now.

I wasn’t asking that read my post. I’m specifically wondering what UT think of Sark. Could care less about rankings through week 8 of the season

I live among them. You really should ask this question next year. Everyone has accepted a coach's first season is not expected to bear much fruit.

Most coaches can't turn a program in 1 year.

It is year 2 that you can usually tell which way a program is headed

Lack of response from the Moo Moo's is rather indicative of them being too embarrassed to give a critique of Sark, would you say?

Perhaps they're too busy..."Mooing in the grass is a gas, can'tcha'dig it?"

Sark hasn’t been able to turn that program around in 1 year. Imagine what it’ll be like in year 4

Too early to say about Sarks's ability and what kind of program he can build.

I'm disappointed with the losses but not the record. Hate the way we have blown leads and played in the latter half of games.

Need to add depth and got to get tougher.

They have looked bad but they have no depth which is why they can’t keep a lead in the second half.

You have to give a coach one year to get his guys in place. Especially in the era of free agency. I will be very curious how they plug the holes they have.

It doesn't matter at this point. Not gonna make some excuse for him like "he needs his guys", but the question just isn't ripe until year 3.

Texas has a culture problem and they've had it since roughly 2010 on the back of the Mac era. They have the same players that the rest of the top 10 in college football have, but they are all gigantic pussies and fold up when the rubber meets the road. That's reality.

You can, in real time, watch a Texas football game and see the confidence erode out of the UT players when they face adversity. Texas doesn't all of a sudden become three touchdowns less of a team than their opponent in the fourth quarter of every game.

Basically looks like a Kevin Sumlin A&M team post-Manziel.

Brown ~ That’s a fair comment and yes ~ I’d even argue that you need until year 4.. But I would add that it does seem the player rankings talent has not added up to the expected wins. Is that coaching or is it (like some have suggested) that Burton has consistently overrated Texas leans? I’d like an honest opinion of that.

And yes ~ Stephen. You’re a village idiot. Furthermore ~ that’s a more sports board question.

Texas is just a disaster. Once Sark fails, Strong and Herman will be laughing knowing it truly wasn't on them, which we all outside of Austin knew.

I was a Herman believer and so far the team looks worse under Sark. It's not just about losing seniors, players that looked good last year look terrible this year.
