That’s why I was asking.

Otherwise, it gives off the vibe of “there’s no reason anyone would choose Arkansas over Texas unless tampering was involved” type of attitude…

Despite the issue where the HC was fired after domestic/ legal troubles.

Then he should’ve asked for release at the time instead of blowing smoke up our asses about how he was firm with Terry the whole season and tournament.

Waste our time, don’t get upset when we waste yours.

So the kid isn’t allowed time to think about his decision? Seems a pretty Texas way of thinking

He can do whatever he wants within the rules, and we can too.

As if Arkansas cares about him. Dude will be a gone in a year and Muss will have won nothing of consequence. Muss needs the recruiting wins to keep the grift going. Basketball Jimbo.

Muss has won more tournament games at Arkansas than Texas has since 2009

And Muss won less tournament games this year than the Texas head coach that was head coach in 2023 alone despite being head coach for only 2/3 of the season?

Not really your best metric, chief...

Curious how Terry does building his own program. Undeniably did a good job holding course with Beard's team.

Beard built a good roster.

Terry reminds me a lot of Stan Heath. Both got Elite 8s with someone else roster. Terry will be a failure like Heath was

This is just the type of thing Texas does. This latest shenanigan will come back to bite them in future recruiting.

And this is based off of what?

Lol calling him a "failure" before he's even started his first full season is wild energy

Only thing I'm sure of in this deal is that sips are assholes.

By hiring RT or the subject of the OP? Confused at who you're replying to here.

Not sure why people are this worked up: if Holland ultimately commits elsewhere, it's not like Texas is going to keep him from transferring. This is literally a standard procedure in this new day and age of NIL to make sure that there hasn't been any tampering.

Y'all literally choose to get worked up over anything Texas-related. It's clearly a recurring theme on this site

Texas plays by its own set of rules. This should give pause to everyone else in the SEC.

They won’t release a kid who has asked to go and even though he doesn’t need a good reason, he actually has one ….. his coach was fired.

Eh. Alabama fans went nuts when Maurice Smith (who was a graduate) transferred to Georgia. Pretty sure Saban tried to block that, too.
ABC News

The mother of Alabama reserve defensive back Maurice Smith told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that her son is being blocked from transferring to Georgia by coach Nick Saban.

Smith, a senior from Sugar Land, Texas, is still listed on Alabama's roster online. With two career starts under his belt, he worked with the first-team defense during the spring.

In mid-June, AL.com reported that Smith was seeking to leave as a graduate transfer, which would make him immediately eligible to play.

Based on the fact that his career college record is 185-165 (.529). That is a failure.

He is also loosing the two 5 stars he had so doesn’t appear to be a great recruiter

Maurice is the brother of A&M's best offensive player - Ainias Smith. If Ainias hadn't been lost for the season very early in the year lat year, it's hard to imagine he couldn't have made the difference at the end of the Alabama game. He had 2 TDs the year before, including the one to tie it, and he moved the chains twice in the drive that led to the game winning field goal. Dude is not a fan of lying Nick.

Word was that Alabama treated Maurice badly when he decided to leave. I don't know if it is true or not. That would have probably left a bad taste in Ainias' mouth, though, if it was true.
