It appears to already be effected. You have lost both of your 5 stars. Only some 4 star transfers coming in.
Beard built a great roster and is a top 10 coach. Nobody thinks Terry is top 50.

Terry was pretty good with Beard's roster. (Despite what RT says about how they built the team, Beard's reputation, accomplishments, and booster money was what got those commits.)
Our transfers this time aren't really encouraging compared to Beard's haul. Rodney Terry will never have a roster as good as he had this year. I don't know if our boosters are going to open up their pocketbooks for him like they did Beard. Based on our transfers and commits, they haven't. So he'll be gone in 3. Waste of time.
Thank God we virtue signaled over Beard when an SEC team with balls immediately hired him afterwards. Our fanbase is filled with pussies.

He did a great job and I'm rooting for him. I also believe he'll be gone in 3 years. But, the media was already crucifying us in the middle of tournament for not yet handing him the job. Our hands were tied. We would've taken a PR big hit and every school would be telling recruits we denied this man a job after he earned it.

Holland’s agent should make a list of destination’s and get approval from UT. Arkansas, A&M, and most Big 12 team’s will be on the list where Holland can’t go.
Texas might get transfer Caleb Love from the portal. He was down to Michigan and Mizzou in April and chose the Wolverines. He didn’t have enough transfer credits from UNC to get into Michigan, so he’s back in the portal. I think Texas and UConn are the front runner’s.
Longhorns might let Holland go if they get Love as long it’s not to Arkansas.

Also, I think it's hilarious how so many people commenting on this thought Texas had complete control over this. Ron wasn't at the mercy of Texas, he could have appealed had Texas not granted him a release.

Also, the team your school barely beat in the second round, resulting in your coach taking his shirt off acting like he had won the nba finals, was the same team RT had wiped the floor with twice in 8 days. And then Texas proceeded to advance as far as the chosen one Musselman had ever gotten in his 4 year tenure.
Oh, and of course that 30-point beatdown to start the season.
