Basketball is primarily about coaching and it’s very hard to buy a team. Texas doesn’t align to that very well.
All you need to beat the money team is one or two dudes that can ball.

A 20-point victory over an unranked team isn’t brag worthy. Texas is mostly pitiful and A&M has practically nothing to gain and more to lose if we don’t come out ahead.

They did that already and all our players said thanks but no thanks. We’re staying.
If Schloss was all that Texas would have paid his buyout and the players would have followed him.
That didn’t happen. So they are simply going to be embarrassed even more publicly this season when we best their arse anyway.
What will they use as an excuse then?

I care in the NCAA tournament.. marginally.. until then, not so much, even when we have had decent teams. The NBA is the same way..

Texas just beat Mizzou, which has an identical record to aggy.
Texas is outmuscled by just about all teams they play, but I think they pull this one off. We have a few off the bench who are playing more minutes, and all around our guys are going to have a better game.
