Arkansas has lost 2 series in a row, including their first home series loss since 2022

The last 2 times we had a home series loss was 2022 and then 2019 before that. Coincidently, both years were CWS appearance years.

Now, if we get smoked by the terrible T's (Texas/Tennessee) at home this year, I'm not liking the chances of that trend continuing.

losing this time of the year and learning from your mistakes so that you can turn it on when it matters isn’t a bad thing.. I’d like for Texas to hit some bumps in the road.. just not this weekend or next weekend.

But even if we go 0-6 the next 2 weekends, we may still have a shot a national seed.. that’s a good place to be, especially after losing Spencer.

The two best SEC records of all time didn’t make it out of Super Regionals.

22 Tennessee (25-5)
13 Vanderbilt (26-3)

I love that this thread ran on the day LSU was run ruled at home by Northwestern.

Whining about refs/officials and other teams’ schedules is the natural state of LSU fans.

How did LSU do last night vs a weaker OOC opponent at home?

LSU must have absolutely raked and lit that scoreboard up.. Amirite?

Those "bad teams" had more SEC wins last year than the "good teams"..

I can read just fine.

Perhaps you should read the whole thread before injecting your 2 cents..

Schedules are created and balanced based on prior year win totals..
if that was the case, how do you explain your football schedule this past year?

Every single team played 4 from this Group A
Alabama, Auburn
Georgia, Florida
Texas A&M, LSU
Texas, Oklahoma

Every single team played 4 from this Group B
Tennessee, Vanderbilt
Ole Miss, Miss State
Arkansas, Missouri
Kentucky, South Carolina

Group A Teams for Texas
Oklahoma
Texas A&M (not LSU because of rivalry with A&M)
Georgia or Alabama (not Alabama because we just played H&H)
Florida or Auburn (coin toss)

Group B Teams for Texas
Arkansas (not Missouri because of rivalry)
Kentucky or South Carolina
Miss State or Ole Miss
Vanderbilt or Tennessee

They supposedly used the last 10 years of SEC W/L Records to try and balance it out.
Tennessee mostly sucked from 2013-2022.
Miss State had more wins than Ole Miss from 2013-2022.
Mike Leach died.
Missouri got a lot better the last 2 years.
South Carolina found a great QB.
Oklahoma had a bad year.

That all combined made it look a lot worse than it really was..

I think they should have swapped 1 game.

Ole Miss for Miss State
or
Tennessee for Vanderbilt

It's equal at that point imo.

But there is the other side of the argument..
Vanderbilt beat Alabama.
Arkansas beat Tennessee.
Kentucky beat Ole Miss.
A&M beat Missouri & LSU.
Florida beat Ole Miss & LSU.

Even if you don't agree that it was fairly equal, or would have been equal, surely you can see that there was a method to the madness.

It also helped that we didn't have to play ourselves..
