Why are you so happy for Alambama's win? You a Gump too? This seems more like an Aggies - LSU discussion.

Well they've been better than A&Ms over the past 4-5 years and one of them mentioned depth, so yes, they have been better than the other team we are discussing here.

Nevermind, Beaumont's right--there's no reason to expect A&M to do well next year. Might as well be Franchione era all over again, y'all. Ain't nothing pointing in the right direction. returning all of our leaders on offense. our leading receiver, leading rusher/passer. we are losing joeckel but we are replacing him with matthews and ogbuhei (who doesnt get anywhere near the attention he should, he is already getting 1st round projections). our offense will be better this year than last year. our front 7 is going to be very suspect cause we are losing so much, our defensive back end should be better than next year though

Yes, after we beat Oregon and they only got bigger after beating West Virginia. Going into the season I'd thought we'd be good, but I didn't think we would dominate by any means. Jordan Jefferson was our QB that spring so how high could expectation really be?

My point was A&M's "crappy defense" (your words, not mine) performed better than LSU's Heisman-stopping, all-world, etc. etc. group against our mutual opponent, who just happened to win the whole shebang.
