No shite OU isn’t our rival and has never been. That’s what makes you two giggling and trolling about everything A&M or Mizzou together like a bunch a school girls cringy.

I agree it isn’t rocket science. And because of the reasons you laid out, the rivalry Texas has with A&M is more fierce.

You like to SAY the OU rivalry is bigger, which we can see is just for show when you root for them to win…

So why are y’all acting like it’s profound that you root for them to beat Texas. That was the point of the post he was replying to, dork

We’re doing that because you’re pathetically begging for our attention and pretending like you matter. It’s really easy to gang up on you pussies. An LSU poster on the last page said the exact same thing

My God you are dense

Not really. Texas and a&m seldom ever play for anything with meaning. Your school is too pathetic

The fact that you think this is some kind of trump card (which isn’t even entirely true) in effort to beg Texas fans to pay more attention to you is comical/adorable/sad

Let's put some clarity on that statement. IF/WHEN a Texas fan pulls for OU over A&M, it's only to keep A&M out of the "club"....

OU is already in the "club", that's not going to change. So the Texas fan is just pulling to keep A&M out.

Take it up with your boy Perriloux, he already spelled out exactly what the game means…

All the rest of your nonsense is just posturing

Yup! Means a lot! I mean, why else would Gameday constantly go to the Texas state fair while national pundits consistently say it’s one of the top 3 games of the year?

I get that. Kudos for Honesty.
Because it was obvious already.

If it makes you feel better, I view the Aggies as a really, really important rival. You matter!

Just to be clear.... Are we still speculating on one game that was played over a decade ago?

Imagine if Florida and Georgia decided to leave their conference and go to another conference together. Imagine that conference being tougher from top to bottom. Both Georgia and Florida would be confident in their programs and history and they might rally behind each other as they move on.

Can't speak for Florida fans but as a UGA fan leaving the SEC for any other conference, including the Big10, would instill even more confidence in me that UGA is going to win the new conference than I currently have that UGA is going to win the SEC. I understand that statistically winning the SEC is more difficult than winning any other conference currently. It is not a massive difference between the SEC and the Big10 but it is not insignificant. It is a massive difference between the SEC and the other 3....night and day difference. It was no different when Texas and OU were in one of the other 3. As good as Oklahoma was at times during that period they were middle of the pack good in the SEC. Texas wasn't close with the exception of last year and they were, as always, blessed with an easy schedule in the Big12.

Haha. Nah, it’s really about how much y’all pretend you don’t have such strong feelings for us.

One trip to Dallas for the Texas / OU game walking around all the fans Friday night will show if we're rivals.

I don't really care if OU and Texas don't hate each other as much as the Mississippi schools or whatever, the RRS is on another level as a sporting event than basically any SEC rivalry. Y'all can keep stabbing and punching each other over college football like a bunch of white trash, I'll keep enjoying the best American sporting atmosphere in Dallas every year.
