Poked around a bit this week to see what was the vibe from the Texas sharps.
Pretty clear they want to let aggy bleed themselves into submission and then flirt with the Houston market to leverage a huge payout from Jerry on a deal that puts the first set of games in Arlington.

Jerryworld contract with Arkansas doesn't end until 2024. We are not playing 2 regular season games there in one season.

There are way too many traditions centered around that rivalry for anyone to believe neither school cares. I know this has become yalls narrative but no one buys it.

I've seen Texas win a title.
I've never seen A&M win a title.
I've seen A&M get sanctioned for cheating when they had a run against Texas.
I've never seen Texas get sanctioned for cheating when they had a run against A&M.
Texas dominates their all-time series record.
I can't even remember the last time A&M won a conference title.
When people talk about the all-time best college rivalries, A&M vs Texas is never mentioned. It was never mentioned years ago when they played in the same conference. Why, because it isn't a "rivalry" when one team is dominated by the other.
