If Texas or Oklahoma join the SEC they wouldn't run around saying they are a SEC school they would say they are Texas and Oklahoma and try to win the conference.
A&M on the other hand seems happy just being a SEC school.

The Houston Chronicle tried to get A&M to fire Sumlin by leaking information but A&M said that Sumlin was still their coach.
Sumlin might say screw it and take another job. UCLA wanted Sumlin if Kelly went to Florida. Arizona St is about to fire Todd Graham but they want another coach with Texas connections. Afterall they went after Sumlin in 2011.
A&M might not get Fisher and lose Sumlin at the same time.
