Which is it? An LSU site? SEC Site? Pick one.

If you post as many times as these losers do, surely you get confused as referenced here.

Texas high school football is shite now.

Based on what?

Texas high school football led the Big 12, which sent a lot of QB’s to the NFL, including all 6 of the Big 12 south QB’s at one point.

The NFL is transitioning to a more pass happy model and less of grind it out offenses.

The quality of the HS athletes are better than ever. Not as many young fat men, but more position players that can run and move, including lineman.

It must not suck too bad given the number of Div 1 schools recruiting here.

There are a couple mods who seem like they try to be even-handed, but, for the most part, they love to just sit back and laugh and watch the flood of sip trolls (thx Georgia!) ruin the board. We're just going to have to leave the board or deal with it until Texas loses a few games during the season.

So the Governor being an SMU grad and the Lieutenant Governor having a degree from both Baylor and Texas Tech (the article references 1986) had NOTHING to do with it?

No...the fact that a Florida Grad would even know that A&M went to the Texas Legislature and use the word "cry". That is pure Randy bullshite.

man, I've had a mod participate in a thread while Auburn posters were telling me they wish I had died in the collapse and they did nothing but laugh and muck it up with the posters who were saying that shite. It is what it is

Finebaum has been (for better or worse) a staple of SEC football for a long arse time.

Faggy is appropriate according to LSU mods. That should tell you something.

"The state legislature (in Texas) somehow got wind of it through Texas A&M and said we had to bring in both schools or we couldn't take Texas," Schiller said.

The SEC didn't want A&M. Ultimately, the two Texas schools would leave the Southwest Conference and join the Big 12.

Absolutely true. That was mid-80s. Hell, even LSU wouldn't play A&M on a home and home basis until the 80s. A&M was a small, all male military college for a long time. During the early days, this didn't hurt us much, and we had success. But the landscape changed, and we got left behind. It was in this long period from the WW2 to the 80's that Texas A&M football was relegated to the status of a Baylor or State. But A&M changed rapidly, and we now have all the resources, money, alumni base, facilities, and marketing of the elite programs.

There’s a cadre of UTex and LSU posters—many are present in this thread—who, without fail, respond in all Aggie-referenced threads.

I’d be giddy to see Ags (myself included) collectively ignore ‘em.

It’s the same uninformed drivel every time, and no one on this board wants to read it.

Let ‘em pee on the tree like stray dogs, then move along.

If every A&M poster stopped posting on the Rant completely for a week, the board would melt down.

Sadly, we don't have the collective discipline for that.

I actually really like that idea. I'm in, if we get a quorum.

I once thought of emailing out a code to all ark posters and we could post in code for a few weeks

Sips and swampers would combust
