I've said it in now three seperate threads in the last two days.

Its called cycles. Although A&M was not great during the 80s and 90s, they were good. Ask anyone in this state that lived through those times (Longhorn, Bear, SMU, etc) and they will tell you that they do not want that to re-occur. We were arrogant, we were cocky, and we were everywhere. The dude mowing your lawn had an A&M hat during those times, not a UT hat.

Football programs go in cycles. A&M has always had the potential, sorry our current students, former students and just Aggie fans are excited. Its not our fault your got a rude awakening when you joined the league, so no need to be jealous.

In fact, you should be thankful because Mizzou would still be in the sisters of the poor, cluster frick conference known as the Big 12, if it wasn't for A&M.

Fair enough. I will say this though: y'all better stop fricking around or else you will become irrelevant in the SEC. Time will tell with recruiting. You need to get players from Texas every year and A&M's rise does not help you.

I think the most hilarious thing of all of this is the fact that all we heard from your players, coaches, and fans is how you were going to come in here and show people up. Kind of a "the SEC is not ready for Mizzou" type of thing. All this while the A&M players and coaches stayed humble through media days and worked their asses off during the summer. We went to work while all y'all did was talk shite as if you are the next big thing. Well, it all blew back in y'all face, didn't it?

You are possibly the most ignorant poster on here. Lots are dumber or more retarded, but you mix intelligence with knowing nothing about what you're talking about.

We do not need to get players from TX every year anymore. And if we do, it's not many. Maybe 2 guys a year from down there.

We finally locked our borders. Keeping 10 of our top 15 players is huge. We've already shown that we can go into GA and FLA to pick up good talent. And now we're getting states like Iowas #1 recruit..

And you never once heard our coaches saying anything cocky. They simply answered questions about systems saying they would not be making major changes, we do what we do.

And when those players talked smack, it was before they knew our offense was decimated with injuries.
