According to whom? Media types who didn't think that losing 4 starters from an offensive line would cause problems?

You can have the best equipment, and the fastest car in the race, but if your diver sucks, you're not going to win many races.

Translated......I doubt anyone is shaking in their boots that aTm has built a fast car

And they won 50/48 in 2019 and by only 1 score in 2018 over some historically bad Kansas teams. They probably jumped for joy in Austin when they got to dodge the Jayhawk juggernaut in 2020.

"Grindin Brian" Kelly is 4 years older than Jimbo.

Well, I am happy that LSU will be stuck with Brian Kelly. He will not be the next LSU HC to win a championship! Count on it!

That got brought up to Aggies a lot last offseason and most of you could only talk about how much more talented the offensive line would be.

Georgia and Bama sure aren’t afraid. They are laughing. It’s gonna be fun to watch them next fall. All that money spent and next year will be even worse than the last ones. Funny that the ATM folks get so riled up when someone mentions the obvious. They are buying players. It’s not a secret. And even if it were a secret there is no other sane explanation for why any top player would commit to this bizarre school.

And Kirby is 46 and beat Jimbo before Jimbo beat Kirby. What’s point.

Against Jimbo, Luke Fickel, Jim Harbaugh, Matt Rhule, Dabo Swinney, Lincoln Riley & Brian Kelly……Kirby has a record of 8-0. Those are the only other active CFB coaches with a NC plus several of the highest paid more tenured coaches in the sport. He’s also like 13-7 against top 10 teams, 3-1 in the playoff, has a NC and SECC. That ain’t bad for a young HC in his first gig.

That is only because he is at UGA where it is a hotbed for top recruits! Kirby had been a DC at Alabama a long time to get the inside track to recruiting and see how to win a championship. Fisher went to Texas A&M and had no winning culture in football. Had to changed that mindset first and get top 5 recruiting regularly. Coaching at Georgia is a lot easier and playing in a weak east conference most years will get you to playoff most years.
