Mizzou has no buisness at all in the SEC but we compromised our standards when we let Arky in so I guess there's no going back now.

Missouri has more business than an Oklahoma school.

Borders 3 SEC states, large tv markets, won't effect recruiting much, closer to SEC schools than Oklahoma and gives Kentucky a teams as far north as they are.

No, but please introduce us.

Side Note: I brought more flame throwers for our side.

He just recently was reinstated after a nice little break from incessant flaming. He isn't focused on one school or another but if you see him start posting in a thread then it is about to take off.

Mizzou has the potential to be a rivalry game in the future for us, but we've only played them 5 times in history.

As does A&M for LSU (and Arkansas). I think LSU/A&M could be moved after Thanksgiving and the LSU/Arkansas game earlier in the season.

A lot of people are going to feel silly for thinking that this will be resolved quickly. State politics in Texas are going to make this a wild cluster-frick beyond all of your wildest dreams.

Ha, that's pretty sad along with our, what, 12 games against Oklahoma in over 110 years.

Arkansas has almost never played West, minus Okie State, or North of us for our entire history.

I have a feeling Kentucky and Missouri basketball will be a much bigger deal.

Both teams are above the Mason-Dixon line and mostly basketball schools.

Nah, I figure if Aggy comes over, they will find a way to maintain their annual game with Texas on Thanksgiving weekend.

Will be interesting to see if they keep this traditional rivalry game going. If Texas goes independent, would they still play both OU and A&M on an annual basis? We will never see Oklahoma/Nebraska annually again.

It would definitely help Arkansas in the rivalry department if A&M joined. We have played them 67 times in our history which includes an 18 year break.

We have also now played OM 57 times and LSU 56 times. By far the longest two series we have with any SEC schools. Most of our other series records against SEC schools are under 21 games played.

I imagine 20 years from now when we hit our 40 year anniversary in the SEC that those three teams will be far and away our biggest rivals.

Heck,

I thought TAMU was closer to LSU.. 340 Miles.

Mizzou to Ark ... 315 Miles (Not all 4 lane, yuck)

Ark to Ole Miss... 370 Miles.

LSU to Ole Miss... 335 Miles.

Mizzou is farther from Fayetteville than I thought. I thought it was under 250 miles, I was wrong.

Adding Missouri teams will be able to play in the snow and swamp, interesting.

If we add A&M, can we rotate the SECCG to JerryWorld now and then?

Why is this expansion shite still going on? If Texas breaks off into independence then they are going to have a bitch of a time filling out their schedule. Sure they'll be able to snag up 1 or 2 BCS opponents each year and 3-4 sacrificial lambs from the Sun Belt/C-USA/Mountain West, but where are they going to get the other half of their schedule?

You think their former conference mates will line up to deal with Texas's continued bullshite? Hell no. They'll move right along as a 9 team conference until they can get some combination of BYU, CSU, UTEP, Rice, SMU, and Houston to join the conference.

texas doesn't really want to go independent...they want that option down the road, but they're not ready for it yet.

If chaos breaks out, and they're forced to go independent, they will survive and still be financially healthy, but they're not ready for it just yet. Texas has a definite financial interest in keeping the Big12 together at this point.
