LSU returns more experience on defense than you realize. Tigers played 19 guys on defense in the first quarter VS a&m. Eleven of those guys return.
8 DL played - 3 return
4 LB played - 3 return
7 DB played - 5 return
5 were freshmen
4 were sophs
Do you think those nine guys will improve much before the '13 season starts?
Tigers return nine players with starting experience and a total of 56 games started.

On a totally unrelated subjuct.
C Kouinjio didn't start as a true freshman for bama. He only played in about half the games.

Do not try to explain this to them. It is not in line with their talking points. It will be ignored and brushed to the side along with the fact that we return more than BOTH atm and bama...
Just do like I do, bookmark the posts you want to bump after LSU wins the games.
Ive got a lot of bookmarks

I always wondered why my longhorn friends said what they did about the Aggies.
It's all too clear now. They were dead on.

I don't think LSU will be "down" at all but their season will hinge on qb play again.
Why can't you guys recruit a good qb?

And you think JFF will fool everybody again with his gimmick plays? This is the SEC son not the big twinkies.

JFF is better than any QB LSU has ever had. Deal with it.
Also. Ihioga that Tigers hate cinnamon. I've tipped off Sumlin so he can use this new found knowledge to our benefit

One loss in Tiger Stadium isn't going to be enough to put LSU ahead of TAMU in the standings, they're assuming they don't have too many more than that loss

Yeah 11 of 19 return... but how valuable were those 8 that left? LSU played 13 games correct? 11 positions on defense? That is 143 starts, right? What did those 8 guys represent for those 143 starts? More than half? More than 75%? I don't know, but I have a feeling that if any swamp kittens ran the numbers, they wouldn't be too happy with what they lost.

I'm hoping somehow, some way for an 8:30 p.m. kickoff on national TV - possibly two Top 5 or at least Top 10 teams.......

And historically LSU is a better football program than Texas A&M has ever been. Deal with it!

Texas A&M won their only national championship and 70% of their conference championships before 1965.
Seems like the majority of A&M's success was before 1965 but yall keep using this as an excuse for 50 years of mediocrity.
