I heard from a cousin that REC and George Soros are behind the decision for this kickoff time

Jesus, the league favors Texas in everything

Or could it be the more likely… in everything you see regarding Texas, you assume the worst

Try to be realistic/chill about it for a sec… now tell me how would this be an example of the league favoring Texas?

Easier to play an away game at 1100 than prime time. Difficult for the crowd to have any effect

Yes but the game time was announced on June 10, and likely set before that

There were other potentially really good games… how did the league plan to favor Texas? I’m sure you understand there are limited timeslots

If you think we hillbillies won’t wash down our bacon and biscuits with bourbon to get primed for kickoff, you don’t know Tennessee fans.

Well...it's in Knoxville, so it's actually a 12:00 game (Eastern Time Zone). For noon kickoffs, the tailgating might just have to start before the sunrise. Actually, 7am is typically when tailgating really gets going for Noon games.

Interesting fact...at UT, Heupel lost his first Noon game (9/11/01) against Pitt. He hasn't lost one since then (of course, typically Noon games have weaker opponents).

Here is the record:

vs Pitt - Lost 31-41
vs Missouri - Won 62-24
vs South Carolina - Won 45-20
vs LSU - won 40-13
vs UT Martin - Won 65-24
vs Missouri - Won 66-24
vs Virginia - Won 49-13
vs UConn - Won 59-3
vs Vanderbilt - Won 36-23
vs Syracuse -Won 45-26

will be a tough game for Texas … wish they had to play them on Halloween night like we did .. Texas seems to get every friendly break you can get in conference scheduling so far .
