The relationship between the two fanbases isn't fun, its toxic.

The toxicity goes way beyond the game itself. For one brief two week period in 1999 it didn't.

Triggered.

This is all a stark, stark contrast from the “daddy A&M” threads we are used to seeing.

You got Texag vaging harder than ever.
Farmer and cardboard begging for the removal of the thread.
Colorado ag yelling about how he’s not triggered.

You’re triggered, boo.

Now we just need lobotomy to create a safe space.

Probably the only reason I can get along with some of the older alumni is that I don't live in Texas. I know their fans can be the most annoying people out there.

I actually rooted for LSU against Texas
I actually do so for OU every single year. And it makes me feel slimy every time.

Xwing is nearing the Randy level of derangement.

There are a handful of sips such as them that are security threats to A&M property

Not rationalizing shite, just calling it as it is.

But just so we are clear:

You and every non-Texas or Aggie fan pushing for this game can go frick themselves. Its very obvious you just want to stir the shite and you don't care about what is best for either program or the sport in general.

If people like you really cared about "college football" yall would be pushing for an OU-Nebraska game more but it barely comes up. Why?

Because you know the Texas-A&M game is toxic and you want it to continue for selfish reasons that benefits the team you are a fan of. So go frick yourself, we aren't going to play that game.

frick yeah me too. When UGA lost to them it was miserable to talk college football in the state for an offseason.

I root for Texas to beat OU though. frick OU getting a cakewalk into the playoffs that just helps them steal more Texas recruits.

Because it's scheduled

Yea, because after Johnny 8-ball won the cotton bowl in 2012, A&M fans were so rational about their next season's expectations and easy to converse with

I mean, is there any fanbase as deluded as Texas A&M?

They've only played each other 10 times since they joined the Big 12. Two of those games were in the Big 12 Championship.

Eh whatever, you do you.

Personally I would never dickride a dead rivalry game like this, its a pathetic showing on your part.

I mean, do A&M fans make threads about how LSU needs to play Tulane every year like the old days? No way, because that shite is ancient history just like the Texas-A&M game.

You have about five years to make hay off this topic before both sides just stop engaging anymore. Have your fun while you can.

The whole time you are just proving my point: its not worth it.

Why five years? There are only 4 years left on the Longhorn Network deal before ESPN kills it.

Yall are fricking lucky COVID quarantine keeps us out of your face this offseason. After a top 4 finish we would be SO goddamn annoying.

Which is why most Texas fans I know were rooting for Mack Brown's team (yet again).

And that is all the rivalry should be: minor sports and rooting for the other program to fail. Anything beyond that is just too much.

I’ve seen 95 pound girlfriends hold their 200 pound boyfriend back from a fight better than this.

That guy had also beat the fabled SEC in a bowl game, that up to that point, A&M had never been to a game of that magnitude.

Embarrassing statement? Yes. Bigger win than Johnny cokehead, the single greatest athlete in Texas A&M history (seriously how sad is that?)? Also yes.
