Article also seemed to indicated that Lyles had informed the NCAA while the NCAA was still deciding what to do with Tennessee.

The interview he did was only like a month or so ago I think.

They cannot his us with repeat offender status since it is not a "new" violation. They could hit us with more recruiting restrictions.

You're right. The meeting took place a week after UT's sanctions were announced. I'd be pretty surprised if much came from this at all. It would probably look embarrassing for the NCAA to reopen the investigation.

While I find it pretty unlikely that Tennessee suffers much from this as far as sanctions go, this could really hurt recruiting if it's not cleared up quickly.

Well then.

LSU paid Seastrunk as well, didn't they? Or am I mistaken?

No it happened in 2009

We would have to have a violation occur after being sanctioned, for them to be able to enforce the repeat offender status. I could be wrong.

It's new to the NCAA though.

I doubt anything comes of this.

If true....

IDK, but if so we both need a refund.

UT didn't even get a visit from Seastrunk for all they put in

I don't want them. Not because of their fans though. They don't bring enough to the table IMO.

We are getting desperate if that's true. Their fanbase is rabid but they don't add anything for academics or sports. They take a lot of FL athletes that can't get into UF or other SEC schools.

Also:

Frick those animals that attacked those poor folks. I doubt they ever attended WVU. I'm from the mountains in VA right at the WV boarder and the people there don't condone that crap. No one should condone that crap actually.

It's not fair, other teams cheat and get championships, we just get 13 men on the field.
