I never understood the hype rolling into Athens, but all I could do was shake my head at some of the VOL trash talk that accompanied it.

Meh. They hype was from a few trolls that, somehow, lit a fire under the asses of regular Vol posters, who were then left holding the check with no cash to pay the check.

LSU didn't have a close call all year though. No team had the ball with a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter and we destroyed the lower-class teams. 2022 Georgia is a damn good team, but they aren't close to 19 LSU. They are better than this years LSU team no doubt, but the game still has to be played.

The first part is true and very funny.
We are not resigned to that. We know our Tigers can beat any team and we can lose to any team. We will see which team shows up Saturday. Either way, I am going to have a good time in Atlanta. This should be a good learning experience for our young players.

You would think Georgia beating Tennessee was their national championship the way they are still talking about beating us. Hell, South Carolina fans have pretty much already quit talking about beating us and that was last week. Georgia fans can't get out of their little brother mentality. Sad
