All you really know is that they're different from you and after that you make some snap judgements based on whatever biases you feel like applying at that time

Send tweets to all your incoming Recruits proclaiming that you know a thug when you see one, and see how well UGA Recruits in the future

GT going thru a rebuild or a build it right from scratch as I like to call it, has no bearing on this issue

Very few CFB players are thugs, plenty of drunken frat guys on Frat Row fight every weekend, yet no one calls them thugs

Tech may be going thru a rebuild as you call it but they are trying to create a THUG culture in the hopes of being the next Miami. At least the Miami of the 80s. Hate to tell you, but nothing I’ve seen from your new coach is new or original. 404, DJs, stupid slogans, etc -its all been done before and your HC is trying to pass off these gimmicks as his. Loved the photo of your coaches making gang signals. Nothing like a bunch of geeky middle aged men trying to look cool! Should really help y’all in the hood if the recruits can stop laughing long enough to hear about the wonders of the GT water slides.
I have little interest in GT sports but all the amusement over the dancing juicers got my attention. It was great! Non participating guys - I’m assuming they are “below the line”- dancing and posing on the sidelines - and actually being graded on it while their team gets their assess kicked by the Citadel. Wow! A few hundred people went to watch a football game in the oldest college stadium next to a hot dog joint and a dance party broke out! Love it! Sounds like Tech is really on to something here.

Why does bringing energy to a FB program have to default to thug culture?

First of all, a certain genre of music or what's current in Pop culture doesn't make it thug culture, every time you or I don't understand or not like something doesn't mean you have to describe it in negative terms

As long as the players are working hard and progressing towards a degree I could care less, let the kids have fun

I think he wants to simply change the image from the previous HC that played 1960s CFB to appeal to Alums in their 60s
