Struggled to get on the field this year. Played sparingly as a 3rd down back and as a kick returner. Back home for two funerals and hasn't returned for bowl practices. He has reportedly been in contact with Arizona about a possible transfer.

Wasn't he pretty highly rated out of HS?

#1 All Purpose Back in the 09 class. Picked Tennessee over Auburn after NSD.

I bet he regrets missing out on the NC and all the $$$$$$$$.

Who is in front of him. Didn't he have an awesome freshman year even with Bryce Brown there ?

Bryce Brown and David Oku...

What's UT's depth chart looking like? I thought he was overrated a bit coming out of high school, but figured he'd get plenty of playing time...especially when Brown left.

They still have Poole next year, who is a pretty awesome RB.

Poole played great behind that patchwork Oline.

Jr. Tauren Poole
Fr. Rajion Neal
So. David Oku
RSFr. Toney Williams
We return all 5 O-Linemen next year and in 2012. Our running game should be very good the next few years.

Toney Williams is overrated. I watched him in highschool, he's too slow for the SEC.

He was a 3 star out of HS and is currently 4th on our depth chart. He will be between 5th and 7th on the depth chart next year if he isn't willing to move to FB and backup Fugate.

I hope he returns, but barring an injury it's not a very big loss.
Raaijon Neal is much better than Oku. we're going to have to stock up on RB's in the 2012 class though.
Landing J Hill would be huge in this recruiting class. He listed us in his final 3 the other day so we have a shot

Hubbs reported this morning that Oku called coach Dooley is coming back to Knoxville tomorrow.

good to hear, hadn't heard that yet.
He still has plenty of time to be a solid contributor.
I don't think he'll ever be a feature back, but I've been wrong before.

He may be transferring as well.

Hog fans should give it a rest about recruiting. It's not like you tards wouldn't pass out from glee over a highly ranked kid.
