Tennessee would be a very bad matchup for Texas A&M BTW. Football is about matchups. We would grind them down in a low scoring affair. Arkansas is not a good matchup for us in comparison even though Aggies dismantled Arky.

There is no transitive property in opponents. Teams struggle. Teams play above themselves.

They deserve it right now. I doubt it will remain that way through the rest of the season. Polls don't mean a whole lot at this point in the season. My hope is that 'sip comes into Kyle Field on November 30th ranked as high as possible and that A&M blows them out of the playoffs. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Poooor xwing/.../archie, thinks polls matter at mid-season. Pretty sure he "was not smart enough" to get into UTrans. Maybe that's why he has been saying that with five different alters..

You are using home and away arguments when it’s convenient for you. A&M also lost at home while Tennessee lost on the road.
Fwiw, I agree with you that A&M should be ranked ahead of Tennessee but not all things are equal here. Notre Dame’s loss to NIU is also hurting your ranking a bunch because the committee feels like they have to rank ND above A&M because they won in college station.
