How is it that you see Tennessee having more "clout" than LSU?

It's simple. Tennessee's opinion football related issues matters more than LSU's. Just like Bama's, Georgia's and Auburn's opinion matters more too.

VOLS have more all time wins, SECC, and National Championships.

I respect the history of the Vols but this is not a good time to be comparing the two schools. The Vols have losing seasons in 5 of the past 6 years. OUCH.

How do you know that?
I'm not trying to be argumentative; I'm genuinely curious.

I'm with Alleva. UA and UT can play each other as a OC game. I'm fine with dropping UGA.

Your football program is irrelevant at the moment.

It's true but solely because we have a powerless peon for an ad who can't understand the concept of leverage. But it was at least minimally satisfying to see the whole sec get screwed in seeding by him being on the march madness selection committee rather than just us.

With the storied success of UT Football, you'd think a Heisman would have been produced. Guess not

It's always easy to spot the half-witted pussies. Just look for the passive-aggressive emoticons.

But to address what's quoted: Pretty much. We're only 85-66 since then. I find it unacceptable. We've had multiple 5-7 seasons. Multiple! Most losses in a season ever and we've done it multiple times.

I wish Tennessee played LSU every year in the 90's. All time H2H record would be like 30-9-1. That's absolute ownage.

Did y'all's heisman winner have to forfeit his trophy over to the federal government to help pay off his massive fines?

Alleva wants it his way when it might benefit him, but when Mark Richt ask that all teams raise their penalties for failed drug test do you think he said yes about that. Hell no because if the did the honey badger would not have been their for but about three games.

When you are getting the benefit of an advantage and don't do anything about it then you have no right to complain when someone is getting the benefit and it hurts you.

That's completely different. Drug tests have no effect on the play on the field. Good for Richt if he thinks there should be harsh punishments for smoking weed but that doesn't mean the rest of the conference has to follow.

And at Vol fans thinking they played a huge part in keeping the status quo. Bama's influence >>> UT's influence.

The heisman is a joke. Hell, Alabama didn't even get one til 2009.

We may suck but at least we don't have shortsighted buffoons in the SEC office destroying huge rivalries all because one team sucks for a few years.

Sorry that LSU has to play a tough cross divisional opponent
