To put it for the simple minded Tenner fans around here. If Haslam gave a crap about Tenner football Derek Dooley wouldn't have been hired.

If he is so gosh dang rich and wants Tenner to have the best why isn't John Gruden the coach at UT right now?

I knew that chart was coming, however that has literally nothing to do with hiring a coach.

I need to get a new one because y'all went backwards!

It shows the serious debt issues Hart is talking about and some he wasn't even aware of when taking the job.

If the job in itself was desirable, you do not end up with Kiffen or Dooley as your HC.

Kiffen wasn't a top choice for SC, but they too had to settle due to pending sanctions.

Exactly. What coach in his right mind is going to look at a school with very little cash on hand and think. Hmm i bet they have the ability to spend the money needed to win in the SEC.

Tennessee fans need to realize something. Your Athletic Program is BROKE. Arkansas = Loaded

You do realize that they are on their second coach in less than 5 years and in neither of the previous hires did the Boosters poney up the money.

There were NCAA, AD, and stabilty questions when Dooley was hired, Kiffin was Hamilton's first choice.

Neither of your boosters will put up the money you think. You don't pay a ridiculous amount of money for a coach until he has proven himself at your school, it's just poor business. You bring a guy in on a nice salary and after he proves himself roll out the dollars. If you want to pay big money right away you do it buy hiring a current coach at another school, this happens less often than the alternative because of the high price required for a still uncertain hire.

Ok so we have somewhat solved that one.

But you haven't solved how you sell to a coach that you are broke as a school. Yea we can get the money to pay you from the boosters, but the day to day operations is where we are in trouble.
