Is this supposed to hurt? If it is then I'm sorry but I have about $32,000 worth of Waterford Crystal standing between you and me. No one is denying Alabama needed some breaks to get back into the championship game. But guess what…those breaks happened. That's college football. It happens. Had OSU taken care of their business against a 6-6 Iowa State team, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Thank you. If I say it, I'm biased. Gump fans love to bury that LSU out rushed Bama by quite a nice amount and that was Bama's strong point. Gump fans fail to mention in all those "well he missed FG's" that they were from 50 yards out.
They also fail to mention how LSU was on their way to scoring a TD but time ran out in the first half and they kicked a FG. They got to the 3 yard line I believe.
Bama crossed LSU's 30 yard line 1 time. 2 if you count OT. Sorry, but LSU's D came to play as did Bama's. LSU won that game fair and square.

In order:
2011 UA
2012 UA
2011 LSU
2008 Florida
2004 Auburn
2003 LSU
2009 UA
2006 Florida
2010 Auburn
2007 LSU
I think the list has to consider national champions and the weird seasons in 2004 & 2011 (for AU and LSU) over Georgia's otherwise fine 2002 & 2005 seasons. The 2011-2012 Alabama teams, considered the best of the current SEC era by most observers, are so close it's really hard to distinguish between the two. That 2011 LSU team was being talked about as contender for the GOAT based on their spectacular season going into that beatdown at the Sugar Bowl lest we forget.

So? This is literally the only statistic that LSU can claim a moral victory over in either competition.
Alabama out-passed LSU by more than 100 yards in that game. Who cares?

What's also funny is most people outside of that shithole, backwards, and tornado filled state they live in consider the 2011 championship to be a farce in itself-- just a concoction by espn to blow up the system.
As if Louisiana is somehow above the southern stereotypes.
I hate to break it to you but Louisiana is just as backwards and redneck as Alabama. The difference being we know how to clean up after mother nature much better and pay the power bills of our major sports complexes on time.

That's because it didn't happen that way. We stuffed your offense and forced you to kick a field goal.

I don't think you'll find this to be the consensus outside of the states of Louisiana and Oklahoma. Bama's performance on 1/9 made people forget about the controversy that surrounded us making it into the game.
Also, as has been previously stated - if OSU doesn't lose to a pathetic Iowa State team in week 12, we're not having this conversation. But they did. And LSU received a pillow biting arse raping as a result.
Nick Saban made your entire fanbase, coaching staff, and yellow bellied coward arse team quit on 1/9.

After this post, I won't respond to you unless you can bring your posts out of high school level. I wasn't trying to "hurt" you. You and the other Bama fan continuously use words and phrases trying to make it an insult. "Crushed" "epic failure", etc.
What you conveniently, and I know purposely, are hiding is that had you not gotten the mulligan there would be no talk of "epic failures" on the part of LSU. 13-0 with a win in Tuscaloosa. The "failure" talks would have been about Bama and how they couldn't even win at home in the most important game of the season.

Understood. But when you guys are on here acting up and talking about being a "definitively" better team when LSU was better in 13 games and Bama was better in 1 is a joke. Then to continue to try and use insults about a game Bama should not have even been in? It's ridiculous. Be gracious that ESPiN and the SEC wanted you in the game. Be glad that the fat cats of the BcS love the SEC and Bama.

I was dead serious.
It was the most embarrassed I've ever been for another SEC team. I couldn't believe what I was watching. It was really sad. I was hoping for a good game, but when Alabama's fat, slow linebackers were able to force the pitch and tackle the pitch-man on LSU's first couple of option attempts, the entire team shut down.
It was a terrible sight to see.

I came up with this list. No particular order. Any suggestions or changes??
Bama 2012 - Lost a game at home
UGA 2002 - Lost to a average Florida team
UF 2006 - Lost to a good Auburn team
UF 2008 - Lost to Ole Miss at home, pitiful
LSU 2003 - Lost to average Florida team...by double digits...AT HOME
UGA 2007 - Lost twice
LSU 2007 - Lost twice
Bama 2011 - Lost at home, only made 2 FGs
Bama 2009 - Undefeated NCs, should be 2nd
Barn 2010 - Undefeated NCs, should be 1st

Great post
You should try to talk to some of your brethren. They need a lesson in sports.

Nah, we won the most important game of the season 21-0 and held LSU to 92 yards of total offense.

Take this to the main board on Rivals or 24/7. PLEASE. PLEASE ask the rest of the fans in the country what they think. Let me know what they say.

Can you please give me a definitive reason as to why Alabama shouldn't have been there other than the fact that LSU had beaten them already? And please remember this wasn't the first rematch to ever occur in a national championship game. If Alabama shouldn't have been there then LSU should have proven that Alabama didn't belong. They failed to do so. So I fail to see how the above statement has any merit.

You gumps favorite saying! So, we lost at home? We're Bama, Roll Tide!
So, LSU rushed for more yards even though we were supposed to be better? We're Bama, Roll Tide!
So, LSU had a defense that didn't allow us better than a 50 yard FG? We're Bama, Roll Tide! (never mind your coach screwed that up)
So, LSU won that game? We're Bama, Roll Tide!

Not even a little bit. Oklahoma State lost to a really bad Iowa State team in week 12.
If LSU fans are looking for someone to blame for the prison rape that ensued on 1/9, blame that pathetic performance from Oklahoma State.
