Meh, not really sure why anyone would hate on Jay. He’s neither an a-hole like Vitello or a sell out like Schongglle or whatever his name is.

Don't really disagree. It's an elite defensive team with very good but not great pitching. And a good balanced offense but not a ton of power.

Sounds a lot like Texas. Pitching is good but young and unproven. Defense is very solid especially OF. Hitting has been timely and good enough.

Their pitching just isn’t that great. They gave up 16 runs in 3 games to Mizzou. I think once LSU faces a team with decent pitching they gonna struggle with that pitching staff.

Sure hope we don’t have to play ETSU.

LSU has more national championships in baseball than Tenner has in World Series appearances. Oh my!

That’s the thing. LSU doesn’t need power to win games. They hit a tons of singles and doubles. Put a lot of pressure on pitching and once they get into the relievers it’s game over. The defense is really good. They don’t beat themselves. Dickinson and Milam in the middle is a hell if a tandem. They hit enough home runs. Run the bases very well. Not worried about power at all

Right now.. yes, yes you do.. You are tempting the baseball gods and that's a huge no-no.. If you used facts and stats to support your opinion, that would be different, but you didn't..

This. Never tempt the baseball gods. The ghost of augie is not happy.

You should be worrying about UTSA at the moment.

This retard (MtVernon) doesn't actually watch the games, he probably doesn't even know we're playing.

ya, 115 k's to 24 BB is horrendous. 3.9 ERA with a 1.77 FIP and a 3.8 ERA with a 2.68 FIP for your saturday and sunday guy. LSU has two guys with the 9th and 10th best FIP in the country... but their ERA isn't sub 2 at this point, so they'll struggle... idiot

Tennessee, as a program, took a long time to win a natty, that's for sure. 127 years?? that can't be right
