Based upon what? I keep seeing this and I am genuinely curious. What had Mullen done to this point that makes people think he is better than Kirby Smart. not saying you are wrong, but asking why you think this.

Mullen went 10-3 with Franks as his qb.

Smart went 10-3 with two 5 star qb's and much better overall talent.

Both teams finished with the exact same record this season.

Now ask yourself which team has better talent?

The answer is UGA clearly.

Mullen will still have Franks as his qb next year.

Kirby will still have one 5 star qb.

UGA beat UF by 19.

Uf beat LSU, UGA got beat down.
UF played a better team in a bowl game and won. UGA played a 4 loss shite team, and lost.

Franks might be the starter, might not, most likely he will. He got better as the season went along. Plus now there are two qb's with a pulse behind him.

Depends on a few things: We need to know how our OL class finishes and who our new OC is going to be. I think we can manage 6-6 right now but not if our OL doesn't grow (quite literally - they were tiny this year). If we don't have improvement there we will struggle again to do anything at all on offense. On defense our secondary will be good but once again we have depth issues on the DL.

I think we'll be improved but it won't be a big leap until we finish turning over the roster.

I'm predicting 7-5 or 8-4
Don't think it will be easy, but it can be done.

Understood - it's put up or pay up time for CGM/AU, in the end he's a very wealthy man.

UGA/UF is rarely close either way, but it probably will be this coming year.

I'll go 10-2. Expect a slight improvement because of defensive depth suring up more and QB play will progress under another off-season will Mullen. The Oline is going to cost us those two games most likely.

I think 2020 we will be very, very good.

To get to anything close to what we did this year, we have to beat some good teams. I don't see it happening.

We may be able to pull off wins against Auburn, Miss State, and LSU, but recent history says otherwise.

8/31 TEXAS STATE College Station, TX - WIN
9/7 Clemson Clemson, SC - LOSS
9/14 LAMAR College Station, TX - WIN
9/21 AUBURN College Station, TX - LOSS
9/28 Arkansas Arlington, TX - WIN
10/5 BYE
10/12 ALABAMA College Station, TX - LOSS
10/19 Ole Miss Oxford, MS - WIN
10/26 MISS. STATE College Station, TX - LOSS
11/2 UT-SAN ANTONIO College Station, TX - WIN
11/9 BYE
11/16 SOUTH CAROLINA College Station, TX - WIN
11/23 Georgia Athens - WIN
11/30 LSU - LOSS

Given that we play the pre-season #1, #2, #3, and #9 teams, 7-5 with a decent bowl win is still moving the ball forward.

You got A&M going 7-5? Damn I guess y’all really are a modest bunch like they all say. But seriously I can see A&M winning all of their games except Clemson bama and LSU.

For A&M, splitting road trips to Clemson and UGA and leaving one of those places with a huge win. Not sure which yet, but need to win one of them.

Road loss to LSU and home loss to BAMA.

9-3 in Fisher's second season and will sign another top 5 class.

I would go 12-0, but we will always lose a game we shouldn’t because it is the UGA way.

Not possible...

Richt went 10-2 his 4th year.
Kirby is a slightly worse Mark Richt so Georgia will be 10-3
