Are you kidding? If you believe rivals, most Auburn recruits have offers from schools like Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee, or some other top 25 school.

congrats... I can't wait for the shirts to get printed!

btw, seems like we've got a class full of "three stars with a nice offer list"

Most? Other than Jeremey Richardson and possibly Jawara White, I can't think of one Auburn commit that has an offer of any kind from Alabama. Outside of those, and Antonio Goodwin, its not that great of a class so far. It would be hard pressed to finish higher than 20, at this rate, when all is said and done.

You've got three good prospects, and a bunch of "character" guys.

That is laughable.

Tennessee's last national championship: 1998

Tennessee's last conference championship: 1998

North Carolina's last national championship: never

North Carolina's last conference championship: 1980

I'll give you Goodwin, Richardson, Mincy, and White...other than those 4, no one in your class has a very impressive offer list.

Where are these two programs currently? Tennessee is struggling, while North Carolina is surging under Butch Davis. UNC is arguably the second best team in the ACC, and in contention for a BCS bowl bid this season.

Jessell Curry and Shaun Kitchens both have scholarship offers from West Virginia. Shaun Kitchens also has a scholarship offer from Georgia Tech. West Virginia and Georgia Tech are both better than North Carolina in football.

Shon Coleman has a scholarship offer from Alabama. Jake Holland has a scholarship offer from both Florida State and UCLA. Both of those schools are also better than North Carolina in football

I am not knocking the committs but I disagree with this statement.

Coleman does not have a commitable offer. He would be at best, fifth in the pecking order of taking the last spot at offensive line in the 2010 signing class.

Mack Brown was the football coach at North Carolina for 10 or 12 years. How many conference or national championships did he win? If you guessed zero, you are correct. Is Buth Davis a better coach than Mack Brown? I don't think so.

Ya, and all those schools, except Alabama, are shitty right now. Saban just offers the best positional players ya'll are after, just to get them here and frick ya'll over even worse.

What you might be getting a couple top state players this year, so what, Saban owns Auburn in state and in recruiting period, and will beat that arse for years to cum.

Rivals says he does. You believe Rivals claim that Harrison Jones has a commitable offer from Oklahoma, but you don't believe Rivals claim that Shon Coleman has a commitable offer from bammer. That is typical gump logic

OK? That statement had NOTHING to do with the conversation. We were comparing Butch Davis and Lane Kiffin, but if you wanna play that way, ok then. You just made my point for me that Butch Davis is a better coach because by pointing out that UNC is a pretty difficult place to win(even for a coach like Brown) just makes what Davis has done even more impressive. UNC is on its way to top tier status(at least in the ACC) and if you still say that the current state of UT is better than UNC then by god you really are ignorant.

What has Butch Davis done in North Carolina? He has not won any national or even conference championships there yet.

No shite, but NC is back on the rise with Butch Davis. OK, North Carolina was not competing for championships with Mack Brown, Butch is bringing NC to a bigger level. Mack Brown was lucky to have Vince Young to bring him a NC. He's got Colt, who broke the record for highest passing percentage in a year at 77% , and still was playing second fiddle to Oklahoma. Texas won't win shite this year, Butch will be a better in NC's third year, than Mack Brown was in a decade.

This one has long been expected. We'll take five more. Alfy Hill, Keenan Allen, a OT, a LB, and another WR. The off chance we take six more, I would include Gabe King.

That's about right, I expect/hope for Keenan Allen/Wr, Alfy Hill/Jack LB, James Stone or Damien
Robinson/OL, Mosely/LB, and a CB like Fulton or one of the Juco guys.

And what the hell has Kiffin done at UT..hell what has he done in college football. At least Davis has a proven track record of being a great coach and even better recruiter(who recruited that 2001 Miami team??). I'll agree that UNC isn't a powerhouse program, but it is a better place to play than some teams in the SEC right now...and yes I'm looking at you, Auburn and Tennessee.
